Three-Jaw Chuck,Clamping Diameter 1.8~56mm / 12~65mm,tread hole is M12X1, Z011 for mini lathe

For what it is and the price point its an alright self centering chuck, when I first opened it up and was playing with the action of the jaws everything slid relatively smooth however after playing with it absently for a while watching a movie it started to seize and i could no longer turn the jaws by hand, had to use the two rods to adjust... turns out a little metal shaving was jammed up between the two parts of the body, easy fix take the lock washers off the back pop the two pieces apart clean and relube and bam! fixed.

I was unable to get it to clamp hard on a 5/16" shaft. I tried using one of the small rods to tighten and the rod bent. I used two rods at once, and the chuck broke. Might be OK for wood, but definitely not up to use with metal.

Not the most accurate part in the world but it got the job done. Tends to slip a little.

Love this little guy for making rings. I had to get an adapter to use on my lathe. I did find them cheaper after the fact but this one seems very durable. I’ve put it to the full time testing for the past month and it hasn’t failed me yet!

I could not get the jaws to align evenly when the chucks were reversed. I tried everything I could.
