We have been looking for a few years on how to fix our chairs. The bases had completely broken on 2 of our chairs and the other 2 were on the down hill slide. I happened to be checking on purchasing some new chairs when I came across this ad that said these bases were compatible with Douglas Chairs. I felt like I had won the lottery. I immediately ordered them and they fit perfectly. I couldn't be happier. Thank you for having these bases for customers to purchase, as a lot of furniture stores no longer carry dining room chairs with rolling casters, and they never have just the bases to purchase. We have a set of club chairs we inherited from my husbands mother. We had them professionally reupholstered. THEN the seat brackets broke. We were so sad, because we love these chairs for our game table. We were excited to find these potential replacements online. We ordered one set of two. THEY FIR PERFECTLY! AND we are thrilled that the arrived much faster than expected. I should also note that it took my husband only a few minutes to install them. I ordered a second set and hope to get them in time for Thanksgiving.

Wrong size but my son adjusted so it works. Not as strong as old ones but still very good.

Bought three sets of replacements. The initial set was to check for fit. It was a perfect fit and exactly as described. The Chairs have worn well, still look good, are in very good condition and most of all are very comfortable to sit in. Was glad to find replacements so that we can continue to enjoy the chairs. All shipments were well packed and arrived in excellent condition.

This product was a perfect match for my Douglas kitchen outfit . Easy to replace old base. Quality seems really good.Obviously at this time I can’t give a report on the durability of this product as I just assembled the based on two chairs. Bent and broke, off of chair and I got bruised, called about for replacement was told in an e-mail reply with no other communication "it appears that the weight limit of the bases was exceeded. We do not suggest over 200 lbs although they can most likely hold more weight" in an e-mail reply and I was told this without anyone even asking how much I weigh which is 204 pounds. The Amazon website says they hold up to 300 lbs so it seems I have been scammed . . . at $300 for just two chair bases and the fact that I actually am 205 pounds (which they NEVER asked about) they should be welded better than they are and replaced if I am less than the 300 pounds that the website says they are made to support
