I am very glad I didn’t follow the sizing chart, based on helpful feedback by another buyer. I should have ordered an xl according to the size chart but I ordered my actual size and still they are loose. This may depend upon body shape. I weigh 143 but through exercise am pretty firm fitting into a medium or 8/10. However a while back I was an XL and ordered a similar product according to size chart and it was too big, requiring a safety pin, so you may consider ordering a tighter fit to prevent slippage.

After having ordered a different one and following their sizing recommendations (which were way off), I ordered this one based on what reviewers suggested as sizing, which was true to size. I don't like things tight so I usually order an XL and this fit was perfect. Gave just the right amount of poof under my dress. I was particularly pleased as the material of the dress is much heavier than it looks and it stayed nice all evening and wasn't too hot. Highly recommend just ordering your regular size.

Great comfy fit. We ordered a red Holiday dress online that just looked Too grown up! We did take out one layer of crinoline because she thought it was too much. I thought it was perfect but she is 9. We Will a actually use this with most of her dresses as she is tall for her age and it’s hard to find age appropriate dresses her size. Also the inside slip keeps crinoline from touching her legs which would have been a deal breaker!

The delivery and arrival of this product was perfect. I will be using this slip and the dress I ordered earlier in a 'show' that takes place in the 40's-50's, so both are perfect for this.

I bought this for my Halloween costume (I was Miss Frizzle) and after putting it on I was planning on wearing it on a more regular basis. Unfortunately it started to come apart after trick or treating. It also hit a bit below my knees so the waistband is actually just under my bra band in order to have the skirt fall correctly. Worked well for that night though and the slip underneath was really nice.

It's a pretty cheap petticoat so it's to be expected that it's not going to fit perfectly. It's super tight even with the 5X chines sizing. I had to cut off the slip underneath to be able to wear it.

I was very surprised at the quality of this item, very nice and looks wonderful under my DGD's 50's dress, I think she'll be a hit in her outfit, thanks for a wonderful product!!!

Now that my account is old enough to write a review, I have to report how one of the petticoats I ordered arrived with a big rip in it. I didn't even get to enjoy it for my costume because of that. I wouldn't recommend it.
