Great Type 1 Diabetic Travel Bag
I purchased this bag to travel with my daughter’s Type 1 Diabetes supplies. We wanted a bag in a bright color so it would not get accidentally mixed up by anyone. (Bought it in orange but would have preferred red.) Also liked that it is properly marked as a medical bag so it would not be attractive to thieves looking for a computer bag. The organizer that fits in the bottom of the bag was a little smooshed at first but I was able to straighten it out after a few minutes. The six spaces in the organizer fit our needs really well. Sharps container in one square, Dexcom in one, a box of pen needles fit perfectly in one of the squares, juice boxes in one. The mesh pockets are great for other supplies and candy and snacks. There are loops along one side perfect for insulin pens although I may put those in a cooler zip container with ice packs for travel. I wish there was an insulated pocket on the bag. There was plenty of room inside the bag to add her small everyday “go bag” so that everything is kept together during transit. Also nice to have pockets on the outside for bottles of water. I looked at many medical duffle style bags and also a lot of camera backpacks with lots of compartments. Ultimately, this was the best solution for our T1D to travel safely.

Lots of pockets and places to put stuff
I went from a really big Swiss multi compartment backpack down to this one, so honestly I wish it were bigger. With that said, I carry everything with me when I'm run ing calls. Like, snacks, a million pens, barf bag, cold meds, charging brick, charging cable pouch, safety glasses, multi tools, I'm the person you want to be with lol. There's no good place for pens, or at least for me. Great quality for sure! Love the reflective emblem, and it carries well. I recommend it, just don't be like me and expect it to hold your life.

great for on the go but could be better in an ambulance
I am currently an EMT and the main reason I bought this bag was because I hate carrying our shoulder BLS bags around. Our (the typical) shoulder carried bag makes it more difficult to walk through doors and hallways, and usually I have to use a hand to make sure it stays on my shoulder. It's just not convenient when you have a patient to take care of. The 5243 Back Pack ALLOWS ME TO FREE UP BOTH ARMS though which is so awesome! There are PLENTY OF SLOTS AND DIVIDERS so that I can carry/equip everything our standard BLS bag could as well. I haven't had a chance to try and use the oxygen tank holder but it is of no concern to me since our stretchers and trucks come with O2 tanks. But just looking at it I doubt it can handle our portable/smallest O2 tank. As far as I'm concerned it has one weakness. I WISH THE BASE OF THE BAG WAS BIGGER. While I think this bag is great in the field I actually prefer it less while transporting via ambulance. It just DOESN'T STAND UP WELL which is not really a big deal at all because the 5243 Back Pack does a great job of keeping things inside it secure. But I typically would have to hold it up while searching inside the bag which means I have to use two hands to search through it which makes balancing myself inside the ambulance harder so it does lose some convenience at that point. Very good bag though and combined with the price I think it's a must have.

It is a great backpack and wonderful to use when you travel or hike or pretty much what ever you need, once you break in the bag it's almost like your trusty companion on your back, I run around and rock climb, and Boulder with this bag and it holds up amazingly all the little pockets on the inside keep my antiseptics in one place instead of flying around everywhere, the tool holders may not seem like they do a lot but all of my scissors and flashlights all hold up nice and snug on this bag, the customer service was great they stayed in contact with me te entire time I was waiting for this bag to arrive. If you are considering an ems back pack that both holds its duribaility after taking a few lickings and abuse, at the same time looking pretty awesome this is defiantly a bag I would recommend for you!

Well Made EMT Trauma Bag
I am a health lodge officer at a scout camp (EMT). I needed a backpack so I can grab my trauma stuff and run to wherever the call for help might come from. I was looking for a bag that was not too big, and not too small. It had to be well made, and durable to withstand rugged use. Plus it needed to be filled with pockets and straps to hold everything neat and tight, and make it easy to get at whatever I need quickly. Then, of course, this is a personal purchase, so the price had to be right. I search the Internet and found this bag offered by a number of dealers. This particular offer was the best I found anywhere. Shipping was fast, and the bag meets all the requirements I was looking for. I am very pleased and highly recommend it.

Does not come with the divider part of the base of the bag.
the third image shows a 6 section divider that sits at the base of the open bag but the bag does not actually contain that. I specifically bought this bag because it had that divider so i am pretty disappointed so far. I guess I'll see how it does the more I use it.

Awesome!
Excellent product quality, durable stitching and seams, and large capacity. Can't quite fit a standard O2 bottle in the mesh webbing, but it does fit a folded Laerdal c-collar perfectly. Comes with removable divider insert, radio/cell phone pouch (doesn't fit a Kenwood K2), and ample pocket and mesh storage space. I do believe the pack is meant to be worn over only one shoulder, as it is somewhat uncomfortable when carried like a "normal" backpack. Overall, great buy and great price for what you get. Makes for a great go-bag or trauma kit.

Sturdy bag! Love all the pockets to store different meds. I bought it to take with me as a girls camp nurse to bring on hikes. It should serve its purpose well once I get all the things I need to fill it. Im going to use it at home after and take it when I go on trips so I always have the things I need.

There was a small mixup with the orders and the company was VERY nice and they resolved the issue right away. I am glad we ordered with this company and recommend people to do as well. The material is high quality. Will definitely order with them again!

Deceptively spacious, lots of different pockets and holds a decent amount of gear. It's sturdy, so not sure what other reviewers we're doing with theirs but mines done fine. Use it for when I'm working with a private medics firm and it fits in all the stuff I'd need it too.
