My microphone stopped workin in less than a year and I have no idea why.

This is a sleeper gem for podcast/YouTube. Imo sounds just as good or better than an SM7B or RE20 for practical purposes. This microphone needs an unusually large amount of gain considering it's a condenser microphone.

This was recommended by a Shure technician to pick up audiences. I have to say that it does not do a good job for this application. It probably would work great as an instrument mic. My PG58 does a better job for audiences. I am giving this rating based upon the reason I bought it, to pick up audiences.
