Fantastic Bang-For-Buck Case For Your Phantom 4!
This review is for the Case Club storage case for the DJI Phantom 4 (ASIN B01D96K6DW). I am not affiliated with the seller. I purchased this item on my own, without compensation, discount or any incentive bias. Fit and finish are excellent. All foam cutouts fit the drone, batteries and controller snugly without the need to cram or excessively force any items. The ability to store the P4 with props on is an added bonus. The props cleared the foam cutouts in the lid, so no worries about props deforming or motors being stressed from foam interference. There is a section of foam located in the case floor directly underneath the gimbal to provide additional support and protection. Nice touch. I have quite an assortment of extra props, ND filters, range extender and other accessories that all fit in the case with ease and still have space leftover for more. The case has dedicated storage compartments for five batteries. You can store a sixth battery if you keep one in the P4 during storage. I currently only have 3 batteries, so I use the other battery compartments for a controller harness and other accessories. I have a Nvidia Shield tablet which easily fits one of the provided slots. When the tablet is stored in the slot, it sits deep enough that I have to dig my fingers down a bit to pull it out. To help removing the tablet, I've attached a 12" length of fabric ribbon of fabric to one side of the slot to create something similar to a battery-pull ribbon you see in lots of battery powered devices. The wheels appear sturdy. The pullout handle is made completely of plastic. I kind of wish the handle rails were made of aluminum as the plastic seems like it might be brittle. Time will tell how well the handle holds up. I would advise caution against putting excessive stress on the handle when it is extended. The enclosure enclosing the handle assembly is attached with screws, so handle repair/replacement should be easy if required. The lid hinge, carrying handle and latches appear sturdy and robust. Both latches are lockable. The weather sealing around case is firm, but pliable. I haven't tested the case for weathertight integrity, but Case Club claims it is waterproof. As shown in Amazon's product image and listed in the description, two desiccant canisters are included for mounting in the lid to help protect stored items from moisture. The canisters are reusable and can be re-activated by heating them in an oven for 3 hours at 250F. I don't think it is specifically mentioned on the Amazon page for this case, but it is covered by a lifetime warranty by Case Club as verified on the manufacturers web site. I hope I never need to use it, but I like that Case Club stands by their product by backing it up with such a warranty. Overall, I rate this case as an excellent purchase. Shipping was quick and the case is exactly as described. I cannot find any fault worth detracting a star for. It isn't the same quality as a Pelican case, but comes very close in my opinion, and is a great bargain at the price point of $169 that I paid.

Well thought out protection for Phantom 4 drone.
I kinda have reserved feelings on case, but overall am very happy. I owned a dj business for many years and this case is made of same materials as some of my cd cases that held my cd collection. The cases worked very well but I accidentally dropped one from a small height and it hit a corner of the case and a big piece broke away from the case and I had a hole, but case was still useable. I expect same would happen with this case and though one tries to be extra careful, mishaps do happen and rubberized cushions on corners for some extra bump and drop resistance would of been nice. The case itself is a hard plastic with a dull or matte finish which is nice as no fingerprints are left. Someone mentioned the wheels being too small. I have to agree as although they function well and are smooth rolling, they are not made for sand, dirt or anywhere off of a paved path. I like to fly my Phantom 4 off the beaten path a bit and due to size and heaviness of case, bigger all-terrain wheels would of been awesome so i do not have to carry it. As I stated, the case is large, almost twice the size of the original styrofoam case that the Phantom 4 comes in but one should expect this due to the ability to leave propellers on the drone during transport. That was a big selling point for me. It is also a bit heavy and big to just tote around, so i can see me using the wheeled setting more often. I would of liked a a large picture on how accessories fit into the spaces as I had to go back to the photos within Amazon to see how the controller fit and if I do remove the padding in some of the areas or not. I did not want to pull or rip out something I am not supposed to and a photo on an regular sheet of paper would of been nice as no instructions came with the case. in fact, it took me a few minutes to learn how to even open it. LOL. The Phantom 4 fits very nicely into this case. You heard the saying that something fits like a glove, well, this is the perfect example. The Phantom 4 does fit nicely with props on as advertised, the cutouts in the foam are perfect for Phantom 4 body, batteries and other accessories though the controller fits in sideways and not the normal way it did when inside original styrofoam DJI Phantom 4 case. I can even fit my 10" tablet inside this case which is awesome. This case converts from a normal suitcase carry style with handle on side to a wheeled case where a handle extends from case and can be wheeled behind you. It also has a handle near extension handle for convenience. The case will protect from the elements very well such as sand, dust and moisture due to the way it secures closed. Overall, the case is very nice, I feel it will withstand some bumping around but may not a small drop, especially from an angle. I would also probably cringe if it was upright and fell flat on to the cement as I am unsure if it would withstand that type fall or not. I really don't want to find out. This Case Club case should last for years. The design of this case was well thought out and will be a great case for my Phantom 4. I did my research before my purchase and this was one of the the highest rated cases and the price was reasonable. I am not disappointed and would recommend it. BTW, I did have to contact Case Club for a shipping issue and they responded professionally and very quick. If their customer service is like this for any future issues one may have with the case, this would be a great selling point. (Shipping issue I learned was not by Club Case but an Amazon issue and was quickly resolved).

Just as sturdy as a pelican case
We do field work all over, from the swamp to dusty construction zones, and our equipment rides on ATVs, airboats, and in the back of the truck in all types of inclement weather on a daily basis. We have several types and brands of equipment cases like this, with electronic equipment in it worth over 50k per box. Failure is not an option, and we need to be 100% confident in our cases. What I mean to say is, I know what crappy field cases look like, and what good ones look like. I can also say that the construction for this case looks to be right up there with some of the best cases we have (which are 2-3x the cost for the rolling style cases, unless they come from the equipment manufacturer, and then they are like $800). The plastic for the main box is maybe slightly lighter than on a Pelican case, but is thick enough for anything other than standing on. The handles and pull handle are made with a different type of (harder) plastic that what I am used to, but seems just as strong as the others. I think this will fit right into the mix, and it has already kept the little drone clean and dry on 3 field trips so far in the last week since I bought the case. I chose this one over another similar case that was $10 cheaper because of good things other reviewers said about the CaseClub customer service. This case seems plenty sturdy, so I don't think I will ever need to talk to their customer service. Also chose this one over the smaller suitcase sized case, because I didn't want to dick around with putting rotors on while we are racing a rainstorm or trying to document something before a bulldozer destroys it (bulldozers are pushy. ha.). This case fits the drone with all the rotors on, the remote, the charger plus the 3-bay battery charging station, 5 batteries, the spare rotors, ipad, etc. and there are still some spots left for accumulating more accessories... I like that. The only negative I could say is that (like many other reviewers) I had to trim the foam on the lid where it was rubbing one of the rotors. I won't dock the review a star, because this is pretty normal for pelican cases, even when they come custom built straight from the equipment manufacturer. THey usually need a little modification. 10 seconds with a steak knife and it was done, no big deal. While I was doing that, I also cut a couple of small slits to store extra microSD cards in the foam without losing them in the storage areas. So basically it's a nice case, I can recommend it based on construction. If anything changes I will update this.

Good case, Excellent Product Support
I have been using this case for my Phantom 4 Pro for a year and a half. It's been a good investment. It is very strongly built and protects the drone and related gear. Some people might want to carry their drone in a backpack etc., but I wanted my investment protected. This does the trick. You can also leave the props on, which makes things easier. A place exists for the controller, batteries and cables. It's not light, but that's OK given the level of protection it affords. I make one caution. I live in Georgia and when I was working in mid-summer in hot temperatures and I had the case open exposed to the sun directly. Some of the adhesive that keeps the foam interior in place began to get sticky along the seams. So now I leave the case in the shade and no issues again. I mention that there are plastic pieces that form a U shape to place the props in before closing the lid. Just a month ago, I broke one, and it was totally my fault. I had a lanyard in the case in which I keep my Part 107 license. I yanked it out when it was looped around one of those pieces. I wrote the manufacturer, asking for a price on a replacement. They sent me four new pieces, no charge. That was nearly a year and a half after my purchase! Wonderful.

The Case That Actually Works As Advertised
After about a week of searching, I bought this case for my Phantom 4 Pro+. Shipping was easy with Prime and arrived on time. Packing was excellent with plastic bolsters that kept the foam in alignment during shipping. Everything fits without modifications. A change from the Pelican case I had and one of the soft backpack style cases that all had the pick and pluck foam stuff that never looked very good. It really does allow you to store your drone with props and with the cutouts on the top lid foam, don't apply any pressure to them. The Plus controller is a perfect fit and the 5 extra battery slots are perfect. There are slots for the DJI charger, a tablet and a large slot which may be for goggles, but since I don't have goggles, I'm just guessing. Latches are sure and firm, with twist locks. The case also has 2 holes outboard that lets you use TSA locks for checked luggage. The roller wheels are substantial and are somewhat shielded, and the pull handle is easy to pull out or store with a locking mechanism. All in all a good case for your P4P+ drone. Highly recommended

Perfect case for P4/P4A/P4P/P4A+/P4P+
This case is exactly what I wanted. It's sturdy but not heavy. My Phantom 4 Advanced Plus fits with the props on and the controller with built-in screen also fits. It has the right amount of room for everything. Just the right size and light weight. The included silica pads are a nice touch that mean I don't have to put silica gel packs in like I normally would. It's not as heavy-duty as a pelican case so you probably couldn't let it tumble down a rocky cliff, but for me it's just the right balance of protection and weight. The handles are also sturdy. I noticed that with the factory gimbal clamp attached it seems to keep the front of the aircraft a little but higher in the case than the rear. So I was afraid the closed lid might put too much pressure on it. So I took the gimbal clamp off since the case has a built-in shaped foam pad that seems to hold the camera/gimbal secure from flopping around and this allows the front of the aircraft to sit lower in the case with no pressure. Great case! Get it!

Excellent high-quality product and great value
I am posting this review now, and there's a good chance I'll write an update in the future. My first impression is extremely positive about this case. I ordered it at the same time I placed my order for the DJI Phantom 4 (which is still a few days away from delivery) because I wanted to make certain that I had the case ready for the drone when it arrived. The case is completely solid, and every bit as well made as a similar case I paid much more for to hold my expensive Sony video camera. I really appreciate the well thought out interior that seems to be well fit to accommodate the drone and all accessories, with the props on. I don't anticipate that I will have any problems with it, and have no plans to see if it floats in water. As of now I'm a fully satisfied customer. The case arrived when, and as, promised, and I have to believe that the price was an excellent value. I've paid more for luggage that only holds clothing, so it you're going to invest the money in a quality drone like the P4, do yourself a favor and get this case. I wasn't able to find a better one for any amount either on Amazon or eBay.

If you use your drone on the water and need the tough case this is the best value out there.
I have owned the Phantom 1, 2 , 3 and now the 4. Since I use them on the water 90% of the time a waterproof, well traveled, with lots of battery storage is a must. I need the unit to be able to deploy as fast as it possible can so the props needs to be on. The case club fits the bill perfectly. I like the case so much I even did a review video. Pro.. great value, sturdy, can leave the prop on, ample storage, waterproof, easy to open, well thought out layout. Con.. not much really.. but I do have a wish list: soft larger tries or 4 wheels to make it a spinner luggage. Case Club Waterproof DJI Phantom 4 Drone Wheeled Case with Silica Gel (Propellers On)
