Arrived on time (super fast) was very easy to assemble (took me 20 min) and is very sturdy. Looks and fits perfect in small areas. I got it for my kitchen to place dining dish set and glass coffee cups on it, and it worked great. I like it so much, I am probably getting another to use as a book shelf in living area because the price is super affordable for the use I can get from this shelf...would also work for folded clothes, shoes, inside a closet organizer or for towel and toiletry storage, the uses are endless. I also love the industrial look and feel it provides. I highly recommend this product! You will be super happy with this.

I've assemled a number of shelves of this type. Once you get the hang of using the clips and a gentle touch with a rubber mallet, it's straight forward to build. It's not easy-breezy, and if you are by yourself you maay need some extra items to make assembly easier. For example, I used a 4x4 to lift the unit off the floor while setting the next shelf in place. With that space, I could clear the floor enough to make the shelf easier to level and tap into place without the lower shelves getting in the way. By the way, TAP the shelf corners to snug them up. Don't pound. Pounding on any area if the shelf causes the clips to pop off. Tap each corner in rotation a little at a time, until they are all nearly tight. I like wire shelf unitsin general. They meet my needs perfectly. This one is well made.

I bought a shorter version of this shelving kit and it worked out so good. Here's what I said about it: "This unit is the perfect size for the its location. One of the photos shows how well beer, soda and water bottle cases fit. The shelves will handle more weight than I needed. I gave the sturdiness only three stars but if you look at the other photo you will see that I installed two bolts, washers and nuts to bond it to the storage cabinet and that made it very sturdy. If you buy one I highly advise you to do this (or to a wall) and you'll have no worries. I ordered the taller version for the other side of the storage cabinet." In the photos this is the one on the right. The bolts and nuts used to add sturdiness to this are all black. That may be hard to see in the picture so I included one of the shelves on the left.

Right off the bat I will remark on my one "con" and why I four starred this product. The bottom 4 poles are threaded to accommodate the four adjustable feet. However, one of the poles had a piece of metal blocking the threading. I could not clear the the threads and the footing could not be screwed in. Fortunately, I ordered two of these units and got one assembled by taking a pole from the second unit. That left one still in need of a usable lower pole. I contacted Amazon on their site but - crickets, as yet to receive a reply. Fortunately for me I have a kind neighbor who said he would try to ream the pole and clear the threading. It worked and I now have both units completely assembled. Pros: I bought these for my space challenged pantry and they are the perfect size. I'm 80 years old and put the units together by myself. The most difficult aspect in the assembly is deciding on how you want to space the shelves which turns out to be anyway you want - that is the challenge. Once I figured out my spacing everything went smoothly. Some of the negative reviews complained about lack of sturdiness, difficulty in assembling or sparse installation instructions, paint chipping and even derided a suggestion to use a rubber mallet. The larger, more expensive shelves I have previously purchased made this same suggestion. If you don't own that type of mallet use a cloth for padding with a regular hammer. No, the poles do not screw together but they fit snuggly into each lower pole when tapped down using the suggested mllrt and the same is true of the shelves resting on the clips, gently tap them down nudging the metal evenly onto the plastic clips and they stay in place. First make sure you hear the clips click together where you want them placed on the poles before lowering a shelf onto them. I also used a small level to insure my shelves were evenly set when I tapped them down. I experienced no paint chipping; the instructions very clearly listed all the parts and the numbers of each, including diagrams drawing out step by step assembly. Once together I cannot describe them as flimsy. Granted, common sense tells you they are not meant to hold heavy objects but you can put weightier items on the bottom shelves - I put a hefty container of liquid laundry detergent on the lowest one. If you take your time and follow the instructions these shelving units should hold up well with use in small areas such as a pantry or a bath to hold towels etc. I would not hesitate to buy this product again.

I bought this rack to fit into a closet so I could better organize my Ryobi cordless power tools. Previously the tools were in a couple of soft-sided tool bags in the bottom of the closet, difficult to sort through to get the right pieces and parts. Using this slender column of shelving helped me better use some vertical real estate in the same closet. Now things are more visible and easier to get to when use is called for. The rack itself went together very easily. I have put similar shelves together before and appreciated the clear instructions and the attention to detail by the manufacturer. For instance the markings occasionally had a double line which made it easier to level the shelves when choosing the heights for each shelf. Time will tell if the shelves are sturdy, although I have them in a space where they shouldn’t have too many demands on their strength.

A few weeks ago, I had the crazy idea to add another project to the mile-long list of things to do. I wanted to update my utility closet, so it was a one-stop shop for all my cleaning refills and miscellaneous items. This shelving unit was affordable, easy to install, and compact. It holds a great deal of weight. I put all the heavier items towards the bottom of the unit for safety reasons. The shelving unit holds it all! I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It makes everything easy to see and keeps it organized in one spot!

We had a small space in our pantry cupboard and the dimensions of the shelving fit nicely for us. The shelves are adjustable.

Excelente producto, fácil de armar y que versátil su tamaño es perfecto puede ir incluso dentro de un closet o en la cocina; no te ocupa mucho espacio pero ya puesto puedes poner bastantes cosas, muy practico.

Desde que abrí la caja me sorprendió su material, se ve resistente, de buena calidad y tiene un acabado negro mate muy agradable. Venía muy bien empacado. Las instrucciones son claras y es fácil de armar. Tenía dudas sobre comprar un estante porque no quería un mueble que se viera muy tosco o muy poco elegante, pero como lo quería para mis plantas, un librero no era muy buena opción , así que me decidí por el estante y se ve muy bonito, está muy bien hecho; funcional y estéticamente es excelente. Tiene una altura considerable y aunque es pequeño a diferencia de otras estanterias, le caben bastantes cosas. Mientras esté pegado a la pared la verdad puedo asegurar que tiene una gran resistencia y estabilidad. Lo recomiendo.
