Fantastic device
Fantastic device works great with older fat shark goggles like the focal series, before they had a dvr and this has better dvr then what most the other fat shark goggles have onboard dvr, though im mot sure about anything newer then hdo2, they may have updated it finally... I have the hdzero monitor and it actually does a better quality recording so I'm sending this back, its way too over priced for what it is! And it really should havebetter cable selection for how much it cost! Don't be scared of the bad reviews, those people didn't use the correct pinout cable obviously, this was ment for fpv, so you will need to make the correct cable for other old devices like cam corders or whatever...

Micro Sd for Max Footy
Good start for anyone trying to revive their old camcorder. I used this device a couple years ago before it blew up, but I moved onto FireWire. Don’t let the hate on this device deter you from purchasing. Great start for users looking for future FireWire alternatives or cameras without FireWire ports. I’m sure that this is also a good fpv device for your drone. I had the original white device. No clue on the newer model

Great product, get multiple batteries
This has been the best camera purchase I’ve made in 2025. Great addition for my Canon GL2 mini-dv camcorder. I’ve been recording tapeless footage and i can’t reiterate enough this product is amazing.

Works well
Pretty useful for my VHS camcorder, way better than using tapes. Expensive upfront but long term you’ll save money.

Bad Expression With Product
I had problems with my product. I put batteries in it and it didn’t turn on. Then I charged it for a while. When I checked on it it was extremely hot and felt as if it was going to explode. The insides were melted after. I didn’t take a picture because I just took it to ups to return it. It’s on the process of going back and I would like a full refund so I’d be able to get one that functions and works smoothly. I have a trip in less than 2 weeks and I really want it before so I can record on my vacation.

Just amazing ❤️😫
This video capturing thing is very small which means it is easy to carry around. It does not come with too much complicated things making it easy to use. It is very simple and I think it is worth the amount you are paying for. One thing is that this does not come with batteries or an sd card so you would have to buy them separately. This device can be used with fpv drones and old cameras. The quality of the device is sturdy and the video it captures is the same as it would on a camera. There is no latency in the video and has no lag. Very beautiful Very powerful.

Composite DVR for VX1000 or Hi8 / DV camcorder
They use this for drones - skateboarders use it for 90’s/00’s camcorders filmmaking. For use on any composite lined devices. Hands down cheapest unit to buy and run crappy television specs. Scientist lost their hair figuring this out, we’re in the future but want to recycle and re-live in the past. This unit is perfect to record off of old camcorders. There’s some weird tidbits when hooking up. The orientation on the pin that looks like a mic input is rearranged for drone glasses. Camcorder has different arrangement - the work around is to slightly pull out the pin from the dvr side so the video feed show up. Just look at the pic I have, and google the work around. Yellow is video, green is audio L or R, red is ground, silver audio L or R. You just need to slightly pullout for your video enjoyment.
