NeoTech Care Neoprene Back Brace for Men or Women - Adjustable & Breathable Lumbar Support Belt for Lower Back Pain (Black, Size XL)

This brace is sturdy and well made--it should last for years. I was in the exact middle of my size category, and the brace barely fits. It's actually supposed to be suitable for someone two inches larger than me, but I'd be shocked if they could even get it to close at that size. So having said that, if you're near the upper end of the size range, go one size larger to ensure fit. The brace is tight, especially when you use the compression straps. Very difficult to bend over and pick something up from the floor without a gymnastic move. The brace has two stays (plastic strips to help hold shape) in the back. These are uncomfortable. In fact, the whole brace is uncomfortable, but not unbearable. I had severely injured my back in 2010, and it took a long time to heal from that. This year (2019), I rehurt the same place (though not as severely as the first time). I purchased the brace because I'm in the process of packing up to move. This brace is perfect for that. I worked a whole day packing and lifting while wearing the brace with no pain during or after. And while I was extremely glad when it came time to take the brace off, I will wear it all the time while packing up my house. One note, in the question section either the seller or the manufacturer states that this is meant to be worn UNDER clothing...uh, no. Material is very rough against skin and rubs against pressure points caused by the brace. Also, its very bulky, so you could definitely see it under your clothes. If you're in pain, this will most likely benefit you greatly. If you're just looking for a little support, look for something lighter weight.

Well made quality product, but I found it to be a little small. I ordered the "M: For belly circumference of under 82-98cm (32-39” I have a 32" waist and my maximum belly is 37". It just barely fits around me. I guess I should have ordered the "L: For belly circumference of under 92-108cm (36-43”)"

My doctor recommended I get a neoprene lumbar support brace and I chose this one. What a great decision! Neotech followed up with me via email to make sure my product had arrived in good condition and to see if I had any questions or concerns. I used the brace this week as I had to stand up at an event for about 2 hours and this brace totally made the difference. My back had excellent support during the event and I had much less discomfort and no effects of sweating underneath the brace or chafing of my skin. I would recommend this brace to others who have lower back pain and need support for special occasions!

Velcro is very hard and product is not assembled well. Fell apart in less than a week. Would not advise purchase.

This baby is hardcore! I love how rigid and wide this brace is. I will use this for vacuuming or to correct bad posture when lifting. I gave it 4 stars because I don't know how it will hold up for washing.

Okay so I had to change me review, unfortunately. I had ordered one of these before but wanted a new one just due to general wear. The one I had before got pilly but that's not a huge deal. It helped a lot for sciatica, so I ordered another one after my seemingly yearly back injury. However, I've only had this one a month or two and the velcro on the two smaller adjustment pieces have stopped sticking whatsoever, rendering it useless. I don't know why this one was different, but I can't say I can recommend this product anymore. It may be fine if you only need it a few hours a day, but not ideal for full days or workdays. Bummer because it's hard to find any that fit a 25in waist.

I have really bad pain in my back an I needs something to help so I got this an it works only thing is when I’m at work I move around so much I’m always bending down stretching an what not I can’t where it when I’m at work but when I’m not at work it works very well for me an helps the pain in my back so much so I’m pretty happy with it an I really like that u can change the size so if I need to make it Tighter or losser I can my fiancé can’t even wear it it’s true it it’s size to so don’t size up or down like if u do it’s not that big of a deal but I would just go with ur normal size

Sorry to say that this product is crap it broke within two days of wearing

pros: 1) good height, nearly reaches my shoulderblades. 2) the elastic seems good (only second day of wearing)negative: the vertical elements are few and far between, very thin and bendy. No support at all, and does not do much for my back pain.In two minds whether I should send it back. Certainly will not buy again or recommend to others. Probably good if your problem is abdomen not spine.

I ordered this after my original choice was too small and I'm glad it was. This brace offers the exact amount of support I need and is comfortable to wear. It's quite wide but doesn't dig in and it's not too warm to wear either. Great product and great value.

This is a great back support and the size are just as stated the first one i ordered was to big so i returned it and got a refund and then i reordered the next size down and that fits perfect , all in all a great back support with lots of detail and a very good price. Thank you i am delighted with your product. And also i would recommend it to other people.

I return the item, as it was way too big, (XL). I'm 104kg so large would definitely work out better giving me a tighter hold and ultimately better back support which could lead to possibly reducing pain. Lovely belt, I'll buy the large and see how that fit. I'm giving it a try due to suffering from backache. It was recommended by a friend so it must have worked for the person.
