I will never use another cleanser in my life. This cleansing bar fades my dark spots and leaves my skin feeling truly clean and refreshed. People around me keep asking what I’m using, but since it sells out easily, I’m not spreading the word too much yet, haha. I did experience some breakouts at first, so I added the acne version from the same brand and now use that one at night and this Even Tone bar in the morning. It’s the perfect combo for me, tackling both dark spots and acne with the same brand. My skin tone is more even and the results keep getting better.

This review comes after using the cleansing bar for about a month. I have battled with acne since my teen years. Getting on oral birth control helped, but when I had to get off the pill, hormonal acne attacked with a vengeance. It’s been a decade long battle ever since. I’ve tried various cleansers, creams, peels, prescription antibiotics and topicals, but the breakouts and subsequent spots and scars continued to persist. I finally connected with a provider who prescribed me spiralactone. It has significantly helped with the breakouts, so I needed something to address the hyperpigmentation and scars left behind. I decided to give Urban Rx a try. The jarred soap concept was new to me, but I liked using the sponge. Also, it seems like these 2oz will last for several months. The lather left my oily skin feeling clean but not overly dry. After about two weeks of use, I noticed that many of my dark spots started to lighten. I was so impressed with my progress, I purchased the Even Tone Essentials starter kit to give the other products in the line a trial run. I’ve invested thousands over the years in products and professional treatments, so I’m still a little skeptical. However, this is the first time I’m hopeful that I’ll finally win the war against acne.

I LOVE this product. Bought this initially to diminish some slight discoloration on my temple and I am seeing a gradual reduction in the darker tone, yay! But upon further use I found I LOVE it as my everyday second cleanser (after my DHC cleaning oil) for my dry tight skin. This leaves my skin SO clean, and never feels stripped of moisture. My skin feels like velvet and glows. It seems to keep my annoying open comedones (on chin and crease of nose) clear of gunk and keeps those nasties from becoming blackheads. Out of curiosity I tried it on my 13 yo son. He has oily skin and had developed blackheads galore on his face, back, and arms. (Puberty sucks, amirite?) I found it worked wonders for him also. It obliterated the oil sheen and seemed to loosen the plugged follicles and many of them released just from his back and arms after gentle manipulation of the tiny sponge and suds. I was floored. Over time I've noticed the dark appearance of the blackheads and enlarged pores seems to be reduced. I'd also like to mention that this formula is remarkable in its efficacy, it is incredibly gentle on eyes! JUST BUY IT!! I am purchasing the large size for my self, and several more for loved ones and friends. I can't wait to see their results with this amazing product!

Ok first of all this is my 5th purchase.. I’ve been using this face wash for a few months now, and I’m absolutely loving it! It leaves my skin feeling incredibly clean and refreshed without being too hard.. it is a tad bit on the dry side but I follow up with a great toner and moisturizer.. I always get asked what do I use on my face to keep it so clear .. well here is my “secret”.

I have seen this all over and decided to try it. This really does clean your face. I have some freckles on my face and using this product has definitely lightened them. My eyelids are so much darker than my face and since I have been using this product, it has undoubtedly lightened up. It comes with 2 white sponges and last a long time. So worth it.

I love this skincare line. I was having so many minor issues with my skin like blemishes, dark spots from old acne and a little hyperpigmentation. My face is so clear. I get sooo many compliments about how amazing my skin looks and how clear it has gotten. It’s almost like they knew what my skin needed. I saw results after the second use. I started out buying the kit just to get me started and see how I like it. Money very well spent! This is my 3rd purchase within a couple months. Now I’m in deep…I’ve started purchasing other products for my entire body. When you look good you feel good and I step out everyday with so much confidence because of USRx!!! my sister has acne and she saw this on tiktok and wanted it so bad , after usage of like 3 weeks , we did not see any difference in her face nor the texture of the skin.. So for the people looking to buy this JUST DONT . your face is good as is and honestly just use lifebuoy on your face :) (approved and tested by me ) .
