Excellent gift for grandchildren

first off, as an adult collector I think this is a great set and it was really fun to build. It is possible to reconstruct several scenes from the books/movies which makes it interesting. The modular nature of the set pieces is really cool and they are fun to rearrange. Everything felt like it was very good quality and will last and stay together for a really long time. I particularly liked the design of the car and thought they got it spot on. I appreciate that there’s enough room inside to fit 2-3 mini figures easily. One complaint that I have is that the owlery and common room are pretty small and there’s not a lot of room to do much with those spaces and I might change those rooms to be something else later. Overall, it felt like a good value for the money (not all sets do) but I’d recommend this one for sure.

This is a great set to put together. My husband put it together with my 5 &7 year old. They do Legos a lot and I'd say they are pretty advanced for their ages. Once built the set hold up well. My kids play Hogwarts with it daily. The womping Willow is my favorite, it actually twists and turns while holding the car up.

This set is based on The Chamber of Secrets and what an amazing set it is! After getting the Parisian Restaurant I decided I was only going to get modular buildings, not only because you get a much better deal with the piece count but also because the build is so much fun and they just look great, but this set....wao.... I'm not even going to say much, I'll leave the pictures so you can see for it yourself. Fantastic minifigure selection, awesome set both for play and display, also, the car looks amazing (This is coming from someone who's not into cars at all).

So I'm a veteran Lego builder by this point in my childs life. I've tackled and successfully built many of these things much to the enjoyment of our child. He's almost 5 and has no interest in the Duplo series so I build these and he helps where he can. This is the 4th set I've built from this run of Lego Harry Potter sets with Hogwarts being one of the largest ones. I reviewed that one very positively and this is more of the same. The directions are very common sense and broken down into bite size portions where I feel like I'm actually making progress fairly quickly. Lego have really stepped up in this area after having some questionable issues with the Lego Batman series (especially the Batmobile which was terribly designed and explained in the instructions) I assembled this one with little issue in just a few hours. Lego does a great job of making you feel like a winner value wise. The Hogwarts I felt like I got more than I paid for and the same for this set as well. Very enjoyable and really cool to see and display with the other sets!

Great and easy to put together. My children love it and it is also great for adults haha.

Got here quickly and if you're a Harry Potter Lego addict like myself. You're going to love it!!

What a great set!. Purchased as A Christmas gift for my 8 year old granddaughter who is a HUGE Harry Potter fan! I was astounded that she built the whole 753 piece set in less than 3 days, independently. The step by step instructions were clear which enabled her to build the set entirely on her own with perfect results. She is just thrilled with it & I would highly recommend this set for any H.P. fan Excellent organization & instructions with this Lego set...by far the best she's built so far...and she LOVES building Lego.

Shipped Fast. Came packed very well. No damage or anything wrong with it. I am happy with the Item :D now to build them all up.

Mi hijo se ha aficionado a los Lego y se lo hemos regalado por su noveno cumpleaños, le ha encantado. No es muy grande pero es muy completo, se pueden acoplar otras partes del castillo que se venden por separado. Incluye el Sauce Boxeador (que tiene movimiento) y el coche de los Wesley, y además parte del castillo de Hogwarts que por dentro tiene varias habitaciones, entre ellas el aula de pociones y el dormitorio de Harry y Ron. Los personajes que incluye son Harry, Ron, Hermione, Seamus Finninga, Snape y Filch. La verdad es que es caro pero lo pillé justo un día que había bajado de precio así que por esa parte genial pero si voy a seguir comprándole partes del castillo esperaré también a ofertas así.

This is an incredible lego harry potter set for multiple reasons: 1) Incredible build variety- you get the whomping willow which has a simple but extremely effective spinning mechanism to play out scenes from the movie, the ford anglia which is a fun build, and a sizeable portion of the castle with gryffindor dormitories and potions rooms- all in all a good variety of building techniques and coloured pieces unlike some other sets which just have part of the hogwarts castle 2) Quality- we all know lego is known for theor incredible brick quality and this set is not exception! 3) Minifigure selection- ron and harry in their appropriate clothes, filch which is a new figure and snape, hermione and seamus, all in all a good selection and all appropriate for the scenes depicted 4) Playability- with the whomping willow play feature, a lego car and hogwarts castle this set is extremely fun for children to play with but also looks great as a collectors piece! 5) Expansion: You can connect this set to other hogwarts castle sets due to the technic pin connections, but you can also rearrange the individual parts of this set to create your own style of build 6) Detail: A very high level of detail in the hogwartss castle- the potions rooms have lots of hidden features and lovely details In conclusion, I highly recommend getting this set before it runs out of stock as it is beautiful on display and has lots of olay features and incredible interior and exterior detail!
