1001 Questions to Ask Before You Get Married

Quickly read through in one sitting. Some questions I thought were a bit weird, those that depict scenarios, but in all it's a very helpful guide. First chapters are questions to ask if your were child from home with mother and father stayed married, to questions for those who's parents split, and questions for those raised by one parent. It covers alot of bases.

Excellent book! I bought before moving in with my s.o. I asked him a couple of questions, and then he just replied: If you don‘t want to move in with me, just say so. Hahahaha Nevertheless, I am thankful to have found this book. Even if you are NOT going to get married — I‘m also claiming that you do not even have to have a s.o. !!! You will NEED THIS BOOK. It is great for figuring out what this whole love thing MEANS TO YOU.

This list is really comprehensive. Most of all the questions are all exploratory kinds unlike what I saw in other books. Most other books have more of a checklist kind of questions where they mostly answer yes or no. This book however, is different. The questions all help you know the other person better, get a better "feel" about how the other person thinks.

I’m a therapist and recommend this book as my go book for couples, whether they are engaged or already married. Very insightful questions that you would not think about asking but important to know. Also has a section with scenarios with multiple choices to understand how your partner problem solves.

My fiancé and I discussed this book the year we were engaged. It saved us a ton of arguments and we really understood where each person stood on sensitive topics, we didn't necessarily agree but at least we knew that before getting married. This book really opened my eyes to some things we had not considered and most of the time helped us discover more about each other. I highly recommend to anyone in a serious relationship wanting to cohabitate or get married!
