Love these curtain hooks. Works great, altho they are really loud when you open and close the curtains. But they look great!

I bought the 90-pack 1.25" rings for the curtains I made for my potting shed. In a tight space, I knew they would need to be spaced close;y together so that they would not consume a lot of window depth when the fabric folds would be close together on the rods. I also wanted the ring openings larger than rod thickness so they would scoot back and forth more freely. Mine are clipped over a narrow rolled hem at the top edge of the curtains, so the clip teeth fit just below that thickness and will not come off without pinching them open again. I have older heavy-duty curtain clips (in black) that are much more substantial for heavy drapes, etc. I would not recommend these clips for large weighted applications, even though the teeth work sufficiently on thinner layers. I had to buy a 2nd pack after running short the first time, but now I have extras for any future uses around the home. I do recommend these for their price point, especially since inexpensive rings are not sourced easily from most local store options.
