DIY steering wheel cover, adds looks but it’s going to take some time and effort.
Still getting new accessories for the new car, ‘21 Honda Accord Hybrid, and this was one of them. I didn’t want to get one of those other steering wheel covers, which are ill fitting and sort of too thick. The Accord’s steering wheel is already pretty hearty. But I also wanted a little project as well, something that is somewhat customizable. What better than a DIY steering wheel cover. This one is pretty nice, with lots of colors to choose from and also how you actually stitch it up will really make it yours. Though not made of real leather, this micro fiber leather is nice to the touch, grippy with little perforations and accent colored stitching as well. It’s a tight fit, which may take you a few minutes to get on the steering wheel. I feel it adds just the right amount of buik to the steering wheel. Other ready made grips would make the steering wheel too thick for my taste. But this is just right. I also like that the accent colored thread/binding is customizable as well. I choose the blue for the hybrid. The hard part is the actual stitching pattern you decide on. I had to YouTube how to put it on, and there are about 5 different styles/patterns to follow. In the end i chose the simple one, as I’m fat and not very.flexible, and can’t move around the steering wheel to do the more intricate patterns. But what you have to do is literally stitch the thread around the steering wheel to secure it. It’s not fast and you can get hurt and poke yourself with the needle, if you aren’t careful or if you are tired. Which did happen to me several times. But in the end it’s nice to know that you put some time and energy into the steering wheel wrap. It is not for everyone, but if you are up to it, it will be fun in the end. Whether you have an old steering wheel that needs to be e covered or just trying to protect your new steering wheel from sun damage, this is a great option.

Fantasic feel and easy install!
This is definitely a worthwhile, inexpensive, and fantastic upgrade for any car or truck. I installed this cover on my 2005 Chevy Cavalier LS. The faux leather is super soft and comfortable to grip while at the same time has a tough and durable feel to it. I've done a few of these type of covers before from a different brand, but I will definitely buy this one again over any other type of stich on steering wheel cover. The install requires some patience and about 1-2 hours of time, but the result will leave you with a feeling of accomplishment and give any car an upgraded look. I highly recommend this product, especially at such an affordable price!

Love this diy cover!
This steering wheel cover looks and feels great in the hands and elevated the interior of a “new to me” used car. Perfect fitment and does not add excess bulk to the steering wheel. The decorative stitching is a nice touch too. I searched for installation videos on YouTube and decided on a single needle baseball stitch (through the holes, not the loops). I wanted a secure and comfortable grip, without all the stitches sitting on the outside of the cover, and I’m very pleased with the results. I tried tucking in the unfinished edges at the steering wheel spokes like I’ve seen others suggest but I didn’t like how bulky it looked and left the edges alone. Install took roughly 2.5 hours because I took my time since there isn’t really a chance for “do-overs” with this cover. Start your stitching and end with knots toward the back of the wheel to hide them. I love crafts and diys projects so this was fun for me while others might find it tedious and annoying. I tore through one hole on the left “bump” of the steering wheel (see pic with arrow) because I pulled too tightly but the black thread blends in well and hides the mistake. The right bump came out better as I got used to the stitch pattern. I also stretched the cover a bit in that spot to help it reach. Overall, I highly recommend this item. I would purchase again for another car.

Not too tight!
Took a while to install which they had a video that displayed the proper way of stitching it on. After some time thinking with it one look was in too tight and tore through the leather. Thank God it was just one loop and could be hidden behind. Other than that doesn't move, feels good and looks great.

Great upgrade to any worn out plain steering wheel
This is a great Product and when its installed it looks like it could be from factory but also a great upgrade to the plain boring steering wheels that many cars come with from factory and give some of the old Luxury cars an new addition to their luxuriousness. I have a 81 Mercedes with a big Boring steering wheel that in many of cases looks really ratty and worn out from the sun and from use. well mine in this care is in good condition for its age but it looks very low class in style and in quality due to the new advances in cars alone so getting this steering wheel cover and spending the Hour and a half installing and sewing it onto my Mercedes made a world of difference in looks and comfort. It gives off a more Higher quality vibe as well as allowing you to grip the steering wheel better. this is something that I will most likely buy for all my cars, all thought I may need a smaller version for newer vehicles, this one fits my old Mercedes with a large steering wheel so check to make sure it fits proper.

Looks nice, Seam fabric isnt very high quality
The Microfiber leather "false leather" feels pretty quality and it looks nice to boot, but if you have a thicker steering wheel than average be prepared to be rethreading the cover A LOT because they just constantly tore every time I stitched them together.. Maybe its because the steering wheel is to thick, but they should not tear that easily and after they tear the rest of what you already stitched together comes unwound because its a domino affect after the first seam breaks the rest go with it, Needless to say.... Spent 4 1/2 hours just putting this on my car

This steering wheel cover looks so cool it fit my Suzuki liana perfectly sliding the wrap onto the wheel is quite difficult due to the wrap being very tight but that would be so the wrap doesn’t slide around after installed. The final result looks and feels amazing

Used for over a year now, I love this grin for my steering wheel. Very durable and easy to install. I do have some sewing experience so it does help. I also reccommended this to my friend and installed it for them. I reccommend sewing two strings at once and melting your nots to keep them tight.
