I bought this primarily for my adult son. But, I wonder if I will ride it more than he will. I was impressed with the zip using the throttle. I decided to go 13 miles to a particular park in Southern California and return. I left at 11:30 pm and got back at 1:45 am - I was really enjoying the bike. I went a little further before I called it quits. I am 5’ 7” and weigh 145 lbs. I think I used the throttle about 90% of the time. I played a bit with the pedal assist. I found it better when taking off from a stop that using the throttle was better. I like that it requires a key to turn on the battery and uses a different key to lock/unlock the battery, which is hidden in the frame. Even with the frame folded, the battery cannot be removed without its key (if you locked it), which is inserted at the bottom of the frame. A convenient small hole is cut out in the frame for that. When you lock the battery, a small bolt sticks out through the frame - my finger is pointing at it. The shocks at the front can be adjusted with circular knobs. The horn buzzer has a very good volume. The battery level indicator has 4 horizontal bars. As you use up the battery, the bars disappear from top to bottom. I am thinking of getting another one.
