The picture actually doesn't do justice. it is a set with 2 main components. 1. tea steeper, 2. the flask. the flask is good looking and is made of glass. beware as glass can break upon minimal impact. the steeper rests on the glass flask perfectly. the steeper however is made of good quality plastic. it has net in the bottom that strains the tea leaving the leaves behind. the straining is controlled by a button that sticks out. also, it has a lid that covers it. put the tea in the strainer, pour water and upon steeping, press the button and see the nectar of life flowing blissfully into your flask or cup. note that the steeper has 250 ml capacity. if you are a tea drinker (actual tea. not tea dust), you would certainly appreciate it. i have tried many methods like steeping in the kettle, steeping in the pincer but this by far is the best. i don't know what it does but the tea has now almost no bitterness (following the same steeping instructions on the pack). my earl grey has better citrus taste, the green tea has better earthy taste and less bitterness and my priced Jungpana has a different taste altogether. conclusion : best if you love tea in general. i got it for a really good price and is very affordable compared to a bag of tea leaves. the tea taste is now changed for good. however, the steeper is made of plastic. i am not sure of the health effects of hot water on plastic. if you have shortlisted this, just go for it. you wont regret it.

Filter is leaking continously and filter compartment has come off loose. Poor quality product.

Honestly, it does the job. Looks cool but hella flimsy. I fear, a drop or two is just going to ruin by 1,200 rupee investment in an instant. I was travelling so just went with it. But if you have a choice, look elsewhere. For 1,200 - clearly not worth the money. I would surely appreciate if TGL can reevaluate and markdown the price somewhere around 450-600 range, which would be much more reasonable for this cup (pretty sure they have a huge margin on such items, since I also work in reselling/manufacturing). My 2 cents.
