These are the absolute best purchase, we have had them for 2 seasons and as long as you store them in a shed during winter, I believe they will last many years. Straight forward assembly.

My husband had these steps put together in no time. I needed secure steps to get in the pool being 70 with limited movement ability and had checked out every thing available and these were definitely the best option out there. Well worth the money. I did find that the railings were not quite as sturdy as I would hope but my husband , being a great handyman, solved it by extending a railing down for me to grasp onto when I reached the top of the stairs.

When they say use soap to make assembly easier, they’re not kidding (that new spray-on Dawn is the bomb)!! Other than that (and a few judicious taps with a rubber mallet), assembly is a breeze. When putting them in the pool, we noticed that they were designed for the pool deck being higher than the pool edge. Not the case with our setup. So, I shimmed them up with 4x4s. Problem solved. But — the important thing — they are very stable in the water, and with two rails (as opposed to the one with our old steps) my wife has no trouble getting in and out of the pool on her own. A great value all around, that will serve our family well for years. Downside: Now I’m kicking myself for not doing this years ago!! Great job, guys/gals!!!!

Very good quality stair. Sturdy and easy to install. The only thing that I did differently from the instructions, was instead of adding the sand to the base, I put an old broom handle through the extra slots in the base with sealed weights. In the fall, you remove the bar and lift the stairs out, 40 pounds lighter.

These steps were so worth the money. The steps that came with our pool were a pain to put together and so unsafe. These steps were a breeze to put together and very sturdy. There’s a video you can watch or you can use the instruction book. We have an 18’ above ground pool that’s 52” tall. These fit perfect with the top step out of the water but still below the pool edge. We just left the caps off where the sand goes and let it fill with water. We also made weights for underneath and attached them with zip ties. We’re very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.
