Great poles at a great price
Really solid carbon hiking poles at ~half the cost of comparable. I took these on 120 miles of the Haute Route in Switzerland and they held up great. The carbide tips gripped the granite perfectly, were very light and easy to collapse and pack away. Highly recommend!

Great - even for non-hikers like me!!
First, I am not a hiker (by any stretch of the imagination). I have spinal issues and have difficulty walking any distance. I am that woman who grabs a cart in the parking lot at the store to help me get around. I LOVE these poles!! They are very easy to use once you get the hang of them. They are easy to adjust consistently with the markings printed on the poles, and the thumb latches can be tightened or loosened to facilitate that. When you get them it is important to take the time to figure out the proper height, adjust the hand straps (the hardest part for me), and technique for using them. I found a number of videos on YouTube which helped (and were better than the manufacturer's tutorials). The different feet are easy to switch out and you really do want to use them - they definitely help! I find them particularly good when walking on an uneven surface. I think it's probably the position my back is in (slightly tilted forward) that reduces the pain I experience when walking. They are lightweight but sturdy and easily slide in and out of the well constructed carrying bag. I keep them in my car because they come in useful when going to an outdoor concert on the lawn, if all the handicapped parking spaces are taken, etc. An additional plus is that I was able to use my medical coverage's wellness reimbursement benefit to pay for them (which I'm generally unable to use). I have no idea how these would work for serious hiking but they are helping this 64 yo woman continue to lead an enjoyable independent life. I am SO glad I purchased them!!

So good they've been stolen twice
These poles are a fantastic buy. The carbon fiber gives a lightweight pole that still feels substantial enough to support your weight. I also like that the carbon isn't noisy like aluminum if it hits anything on the trail. The cork handles are comfortable, even if you are a bit sweaty. The quick lock is quite sturdy and never slipped on me. Most importantly - my knees did not hurt on steep terrain when hiking with these. I even found that the poles improved my shoulder posture and reduced headaches with a heavy load. I was so happy with my purchase - unfortunately I am ridiculously absent minded and left them leaning up against my car in the fall. I drove back as soon as I realized what happened, but five hours had passed and they had been taken. After six months without them, I caved and purchased a second pair last week before taking my youngest son on his first backpacking trip. The whole hike I was thinking I should have re-purchased them sooner. Unfortunately (again) I didn't pack the car on our way out and didn't think to double check that they made it in. This time I realized what had happened as soon as I got home and immediately turned around and drove back to the trail. In the three hours I was gone a group of hikers found them, hung them on a sign, and then someone else came along and took them. They are really nice poles. I can't believe I had them for less than 72 hours. I miss them already. So do my menisci. Incidentally, if you found some poles hanging on a sign in Lackawana State Forest and are checking out reviews to see if they are any good, feel free to return them.

Very good for the price
I purchased these because I've never used trekking poles and I wondered "Well, my knee hurts more than it used to... maybe I should give poles a shot," and I'm glad I did. Firstly, if you're wondering "gee, should I use trekking poles?" the answer is "yes, you should." Your next question is "Should I use THESE trekking poles, the answer is "Maybe?" PROS: - These are cheap and if you end up hating trekking poles for whatever reason, you're not deeply invested. They come with a lot of accessories which gives you bang for your buck. They will reduce the strain on your knees and hips (like all brands will). I found them very comfortable and easy to adjust. I've learned to use them almost like a clock, helping my pacing and keeping me moving at a steady rate. I like the cork handles. CONS: One of my poles makes a "brrwaoowningingig" sound when it comes down. The other doesn't. It's a slight nag, but it's not the end of the world. Certainly it isn't an additional $100 of bother to have picked up different poles. My instruction card was missing, but I mean these are poles; you'll figure it out. Overall - Great price, good poles for testing the waters. Dozens of miles and I'm still very happy with them. One day I'll almost certainly buy a really expensive pair of trekking poles, but I bet these will be passed onto someone else because they seem to be built to last (so far!).

Probably the best lightweight poles for this price on the market.
These hiking poles are awesome for hiking and backpacking. They are extremely lightweight and very durable. They do not condense down as much as some other poles because they have only two sections, but that was not a deal breaker for me.

Very Functional & Light For The Price
I took these on a long hiking trip and very much appreciated the additional power from using my arms and felt more confident negotiating streams and tight trails with them. The handles are reasonably comfortable, the cork feels good, but the straps do come loose and require tightening now and then. I have only used the smaller baskets. They are easily adjusted and feel secure. They are light and much lower costs than what I saw in recreational stores.

Great trekking poles
These poles are exactly as described and functional. It comes with a carrying case and multiple tips for various hiking and walking terrain. It is durable and holds its position well once set. Additionally, it is easy to adjust and shorten for putting in its’ case and in suitcases for traveling. Be aware that most airlines do NOT allow trekking poles to be brought on board. These poles seemed expensive while I considered what to purchase, but they have easily been worth the price.
