Brooklyn Candle Studio, Palo Santo minimalist candlestick, 230 ml

Bought this one off the recommendation in Wirecutter and I have to say it's wild how scentless the candle actually is. Like, I could understand if the smell was subtle, but it's non-existent. Whether burning normally or under a lamp, I struggle to get... *anything*.

This is second time buying this product. First time product was excellent and packaged well. The palo santo scent is beautiful and the candle lasts a long time. This is why i ordered one to gift . It arrived wrapped in skimpy bubble wrap, no box, with a dented lid but more importantly glass jar was all greasy. Wax was spilled over the edge. Dry paper towel helped greasiness but bar code ink smudged so glass is all black smudges. and still a greasy. Not usable as a gift. I won't order from them in the future.

After searching reviews for strong smelling candles, I settled on this. I am not sure if it is from a bad batch, but honestly, this candle has zero scent. I mean zero.

It is an expensive candle which does not give out any smell. I am very disappointed. No value for the money. I bought much cheaper candles that gave much more flavor than this one.

I had low expectations and still found a way to be disappointed. Zero aromatics to this, had to put my nose almost directly in the flame to smell it. I have an unlit candle in my bathroom that overpowers this Palo Santo when it’s lit. Take your money elsewhere.
