It’s a miracle cleaner, lubricant. The smell can be strong for some people but this oil works on literally everything. I have several cheap locks I use on the outside of my house in various functions. I use the oil in the locks all year around during all the seasons. Keeps the locks working perfectly, fights off rust and never gums up. Works on wood, rubber and everything. Great value too in regards to how much oil comes in a can.

Probably the best thing you can buy for firearms other than lessons at the range. Lubricated and prevents rust without gumming or gelling. Terrific but here on Amazon Haul. Quick delivery.

This is a great product - especially for black powder shooters. I have been using this for decades and love how it works. I am surprised that I rarely find anyone (other than some black powder shooters) who have even heard of it. Its worth your time going to their website or Wiki and learning its history and uses.

Ballistol is a great lube for everything from leather to firearms if you can handle the residual odor that tends to linger. It's a little smelly, some folks hate it and others, like myself, get used to it and actually grow to enjoy it. It's not the least expensive lube on the market but it's tried and true. Are there better products on the market? Sure, but most of them are geared towards a specific use and only good for that. Ballistol has a wide range of applications and it's also carcinogen free and skin safe which makes it a superior product in my humble and unsolicited opinion. I use it primarily for firearms lubrication, it leaves an almost grease like film when applied generously which keeps moving parts from wearing prematurely. I'll also douse a ripcord with it and run it through the barrel before and after shooting to help prolong the life of it as well.

I "discovered" Ballistol over 20 years and have used it ever since on everything from cleaning and maintaining firearms, to lubricating anything metal like door hinges, locks, socket wrenches, pliers, tools... you name it. Great product. Even can be used on wood and leather as a protectant. This product and RemOil are my "go to" lubricants.

This product had been recommended to me to clean plastic screwdriver handles. Does an okay job of this. I suspect it does a great job for what it was intended to do.

After using Ballistol for a number of years with excellent results I found that the aerosol propellant would quick working and I would still have 1/2 a can left. Total waste....so when I saw this in liquid form and simply put it into a small spray bottle it works like a charm with no waste !! Would definitely purchase again and highly recommend the product in this form.++

Es el mejor aceite para mantenimiento en mi opinión, lo utilizo para cuchillos y navajas de acero al carbón y herramienta propensa al óxido, a diferencia de otros aceites multiproposito este genera una película, no grasos al tacto, pero protectora, con una gota puedo proteger perfectamente un cuchillo de chef. Y en las navajas permanece por mucho tiempo en los mecanismos. Tiene un olor peculiar, normal en este aceite, pero en mi opinión más agradable que otros aceites (es una aroma herbal-dulce).
