I have wanted a "mechanical" keyboard for a while. While I wasn't interested in getting a wired version (I was looking for an affordable Bluetooth model), I went ahead and took a chance on this one. It was delivered as promised.Word of warning, the keyboard comes in a box with an image that looks NOTHING like the keyboard inside. I was worried for a few minutes that it was the wrong keyboard. When I opened the box, I saw that it was what I ordered.It is responsive, more so that my old wireless keyboard, which sometimes didn't register that I was typing for several seconds. It does have a clack like a typewriter. Some people will find that annoying. I work at home, so having the sound that I am typing is a plus for me. Maybe it will be a warning to my kids that I AM WORKING before they come busting in here and disturbing my train of thought.The pros:It seems to be a sturdy, solid keyboard. I like the shape and sound of the keys as you type. The wrist rest is nice since it is much thicker than my old keyboard. I tried it with and without the rest and decided to attach it to the keyboard and leave it.Cons:I don't get the multi-color lights. It's a neat feature I could have done without. Maybe if I wrote in a dark room, I would appreciate them better. But since I prefer a well-lit room whine I write, I don't need them. If anything, I wish there was a way to make them all the same color. Each row a different color is a bit obnoxious to me. It's a personal preference thing. You might like it. I'm not a fan.

I don’t usually review things but I figured I should especially because of some of the negative reviews. So first and foremost, the package arrived undamaged. The keyboard does NOT feel cheap. The three arrow buttons at the top do not automatically light up HOWEVER, they light up when you have the Caps lock, the Num lock and the ScLk (scroll lock) on. So far I’ve had this for a little over 2 weeks now and so far so good. I absolutely adore this keyboard. The mouse works but I don’t use it as I have a wireless mouse that is similar. I love the mousepad that came with. Everyone in the office complimented it! I don’t use the keyboard at work because I know the clicking can be annoying for some so I use it when I work from home. I don’t use the keyboard for gaming so I can’t really comment on that.

This came in early July and seemed wonderful at first. After literally a week the backspace key was broken and not responsive. I don't even game with this, it broke after casual use. I returned it and Amazon sent a replacement. The replacement just arrived today. It was not in an amazon box, just arrived in its manufacturer packaging which was beaten up and half opened/torn. The mouse was missing inside. I didn't even both plugging in the keyboard since the box was open and exposed it to who knows what during shipping. I am returning this keyboard as well and seeking a refund. Such a disappointment.Edit: Basaltech contacted me and their service representative has filed a complaint with Amazon over the quality of their shipping. They have also recently sent me a new keyboard set. I just received it today and so far it is working well. We will see if it lasts longer than a week this time. If anything changes, I'll update my review. But I am now giving this 4 stars simply for their prompt customer service. Thanks!

The media could not be loaded. This keyboard combo has 26 different light options with 5 levels of speed and brightness for each option. It click clacks real good. The mouse DPI cycle is convenient and you can turn the colors off entirely if that's your jam. The game mat has Office shortcuts and the zodiac symbols, everything a girl needs to succeed 💜Highly recommend this gift for anyone working from home who wants to be professional and cute at the same time. Not good for the office since the clacking is super loud.

I use this for remote work at home. I loved the concept of an old-school type of keyboard and expected that it wouldn’t be like my soft keys. But when I set it up and saw the lights feature. I wanted to love this keyboard. I type a lot and the sound just became annoying. Clunky is the word I’d use. Will probably go back to my old keyboard.

This keyboard is amazing! I do not regret buying it whatsoever. It looks the same as it does in the photos. The keys are easily pushed and it creates a clickity mechanical sound (just the way I like it). I tested the durability of the keyboard and it seems pretty legit, as the keys didn't fall off. If I had a chance, I will definitely purchase again!During the process of purchasing this keyboard, I was going through the reviews and I read some bad reviews about it. However, I decided to disregard those reviews since they seemed bogus. I took a chance, purchased the keyboard and I'm glad I did. All I can say to the other buyers is, test the keyboard out yourself, trust your instincts, and don't contemplate about others foolish reviews until you see the product for yourself.

I was in search of a typewriter-sounding keyboard when I stumbled across this one, and I’m so happy I did! The sound of the keys is straight up addicting, the options for the backlit keys is amazing, and the whole thing is beyond cute (I got the pink one). And that’s not even including the fact this keyboard ALSO came with a mouse, wrist rest, AND a mat to go beneath it all. It’s an awesome deal for all the items you get with the purchase and the style is absolutely perfect.10/10 would buy again 👍🏻
