Slime 50122 Flat Tire Puncture Emergency Kit
As a proud owner of a Tesla Model 3, I understand the importance of being prepared for unexpected situations, especially when it comes to dealing with a flat tire. That's why I decided to invest in the Slime 50122 Flat Tire Puncture Emergency Kit, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, the kit includes everything I need to quickly and effectively address a flat tire situation. The sealant provided is easy to use and effectively seals punctures up to a quarter-inch in diameter, allowing me to get back on the road without having to change the tire or call for assistance. The tire inflator pump is compact yet powerful, capable of inflating my Tesla's tires to the recommended pressure in a matter of minutes. Its compact size makes it easy to store in my trunk without taking up too much space, which is a huge plus considering the limited storage space in the Model 3. One thing I particularly appreciate about this kit is its user-friendly design. Even if you're not particularly mechanically inclined, you'll find it easy to use thanks to the clear instructions provided. Plus, the included carrying case keeps everything organized and easily accessible when needed. In terms of performance, I've had to use this kit on a couple of occasions, and it has never let me down. Whether I'm dealing with a minor puncture or a more significant tire issue, the Slime 50122 Emergency Kit has been able to get me back on the road safely and quickly. Overall, I highly recommend the Slime 50122 Flat Tire Puncture Emergency Kit to any Tesla Model 3 owner or anyone looking for a reliable solution to handle flat tire emergencies. It's a small investment that can save you a lot of time and hassle when you find yourself in a sticky situation on the road.

Worked as advertised
Worked!! Easy to use! Got my super flat tire up and going for 8 miles to the service shop! On a very hot 100-degree summer day. I got a flat tire- so flat. Plugged this in and inflated the tire took several minutes. Then drove slowly to tire shop at about 20 to 45 miles per hour. It saved me expensive towing and life. Very easy to use.

No option to inflate without using the slime
I bought this for my Tesla. While at work, I got a notification that one of my tires had low pressure. I assumed someone was making their statement, by deflating one of my tires. Fortunately, I knew I had this to help. When I went out to my car and opened this up, I was disappointed to find that this does not inflate without using the slime. I just wanted to inflate my tire. I tried to find a way around it, but had to inflate my tire while adding slime. Regardless, it worked well. My tire inflated to 42 psi and I was able to drive home... Overpriced for the lack of functionality. I would not buy it again. Instead, I bought a different pump where the slime is optional.

Saved me a lot of headache!
After 3 years, I finally had to use this on my Mustang Mach-E. It worked wonderfully. The tire was fully flat with a puncture in it. After using this, I was able to drive at least 30 miles home to the tire shop without losing air. The tire shop was able to patch my tire, so I didn't have to buy a new one. 100% recommended. Read and follow the instructions though. You can't just fill it and go. You have to drive under 25 mph for a couple of miles at first to get the sealant to spread.

Peace of mind for a teen's car
Shipped quickly; bought for my daughter's car. Hopefully she doesn't have a need to use it, but if she does, I hope it works. I've seen these used once before and was impressed.

Be Mindful of the Actual Pressure
I purchased this product in September 2023 for use, hopefully not, in my Mazda Miata which does not have a spare tire. It's been in the trunk ever since, not having a need for it. On October 8, 2025, I received a low tire pressure message on the Miata display, so I got the Slime out of the trunk and followed the instructions for air-only use. Before beginning, I used a digital tire gauge to check the pressure in the Miata's tire and saw that it was about 24#, quite a bit below the recommended 29#. I pushed the on button and noticed the gauge that was illuminated begin to move up toward 29#. At 29#, I disconnected the hose and checked the pressure with the digital gauge. The gauge remained at 24# even though the gauge on the Slime unit indicated the pressure was at 29#. I double checked the digital gauge, and it was still at 24#. This bothered me. I also have a Heltoko portable pump that I have in another vehicle. I hooked up the Heltoko pump to the tire on the Miata and set the Heltoko to 29#. It took just a few seconds for the unit to reach 29# at which time it shut off automatically as it was supposed to upon reaching the desired pressure. I then used the same digital gauge to check the pressure, and it displayed 29#. On October 9 I thought I would give the Slime another chance. I have a Palisade with recommended 35# per tire. I used the same digital gauge to check the pressures which were just a little low. Nonetheless, I hooked up the Slime, followed the instructions, turned it on, and observed the needle on the Slime approaching 35#. At 35# I shut the Slime off and checked the pressure with the digital gauge. It still read low as before, even a bit lower because of the difficulty of unscrewing the air hose connected to the tire's valve stem. I could hear air escaping as I unscrewed the air hose. So, I repeated the process with the Heltoko on the Palisade. At 35#, it shut off as expected. I checked the pressure with the digital gauge, and it read 35#. Since I purchased the Slime two years ago, there is no way to return it. I will keep it in the Miata for the sole purpose of using it as a tire inflator in case of a flat tire. But I have no faith in the unit to use to inflate a tire with low pressure since I have absolutely no idea whether air is actually getting into the tire when turned on given the readouts appearing on the Slime unit and the Heltoko unit as I described above. Another point may be important. The Slime unit requires the user to screw the air inflator hose onto and off of the valve stem as opposed to other inflator devices that usually have a snap-on type of connector. The screw on process takes a bit of time and lets air escape. I think this was the issue with the Palisade where the digital gauge pressure was actually lower than before I started the Slime despite the gauge on the Slime showing air inflation. I would be curious if others have experienced anything like this, or if in my case, it might be a case of "operator error" where I might be doing something incorrect. UPDATE FOR THIS REVIEW The same day I posted this review of the Slime product, I located a phone number for the company by doing a Google search. I was connected to an IVR and placed on hold for a few minutes. Then, a recorded voice told me to leave a message after the beep and that I would be contacted. I left a brief message about what I thought was a malfunctioning Slime unit, left my phone number, and hung up. On Friday, October 10 I received a call on my cell phone labeled 'possible scam.' I usually let those go, but since it was labeled 'California' but no number and thinking it just might be the Slime company, I answered the call. Sure enough, it was a person from customer support calling me back in reference to my voice mail message. The woman was professional, understanding and apologetic with regard to the possible malfunction of my Slime unit. She said the company would send me a replacement unit at no charge. I asked if she wanted me to send back the old unit, and she said that was not necessary. I provided her with my address, so I will see what occurs in the next few days regarding the receipt of the new unit.
