X-Sense Smart Heat Alarm XH02-M with 10-Year Sealed Battery, SBS50 Base Station Required, Model XH02-M, 1-Pack

Don't work as doesn't connect to base station. Have converted entire house to X-Sense, all the other alarm types are fine just these heat alarms. I purchased two and same problem with both and yes tried with the base station nearby. Contacted support twice and nothing back from them.

This is not a problem with x-sence products this is a problem with the fact Amazon allow you to buy one from America! They are not compatible with the English base station due to the different radio frequencies used in each region. All the other UK version products connected ever so easily with no problems at all.

Works great for small apartments where general cooking sets off normal smoke detectors. Easy to install and setup to get alerts to my iPhone.

I installed several of these heat sensors in my barn since smoke detectors just aren’t reliable in such a dusty environment. Setup was incredibly simple—everything connected seamlessly right out of the box. The first time it auto-tested, the alarm surprised me with how loud it was (definitely what you want in an emergency). While I probably won’t hear the alarm from the house, I like that I’ll still get critical alerts on my phone if something happens when I’m awake. It’s a great option for places where traditional smoke detectors won’t work, and I appreciate that there’s even an option to connect to the local fire department for a fee, which I’ll be looking into. Overall, very impressed—easy to install, works as promised, and gives me peace of mind.

Inadvertently tested against false alarm thanks to a middle of the night teenager cooking and forgetting to disengage the old battery operated model. The old one was set off by the oven use but the newly installed heat alarm didn’t alert (to be clear there was not a fire nor excessive heat or smoke build up at the time.) Appreciate that the heat alarm, along with the other smoke/co combination detectors and base, will function as a whole-home system; that along with the app’s ability to monitor functionality, go a long way for peace of mind! Initially setting up app and setting up/connecting individual units to the app took longer than actual installation; however, overall pretty easy setup!

Easy to install and works perfectly! I bought this X-Sense Smart Heat Alarm along with several other X-Sense smoke and CO detectors, and they all work seamlessly together. The alarm is loud and reliable, and the smart phone alerts are super convenient—especially when I’m away from home. I feel much more secure knowing my home is fully covered with these detectors. Highly recommend!
