uPunch HN2500 Calculating Time Clock Bundle for Small Business: Auto Align Employee Time Tracking System with 100 Time Cards, Ribbon, and Keys

We have been using this time lock for over a year at our landscaping company. Mounted in an unheated garage. Dusty, 100 degrees in Summer, down to 5 degrees in Winter. No issues and keeps good time. Setup was fairly simple. Adjustments to settings are straightforward. I had to call customer support when I couldn't get it to calculate hours worked and they walked me through with no issue. Our employees are on the road after initial punch in and don't punch out for lunch. We use the 1st IN button and the last OUT button to get it to calculate daily hours. Lunch time is paid time so that works fine for us. My only complaint is the timecard rack. If the cards get wrinkled or slightly folded they hang up when inserting back in the rack. Need to pay attention to making sure the cards stay flat all month long.

I've had it for about 2 weeks. I enjoy it! I give it 4 stars because it's complicated to set up (watch the videos). Goo value for money. Nice design. Good quality

Great time clock for medium to small business users. I mean the setup was pretty easy and it has 2 different manuals to really guide you through the steps. The online time sheet manager that they have is pretty much pointless because there is no way to sync the two it's just kind of there if you want to use a software or the actual real time clock go keep track of your employees. I mean overall it's a great looking time clock, and I really like the design of the timesheets themselves. Very detailed yet very easy to read. In terms of the hardware itself I mean it seems like it's doing an outstanding job of keeping a track of all my employees, their breaks and Lunches, overtones and so on. Would definitely recommend it to someone who's tired of keeping track and manually keeping track of the hours. This will make your life and your employees work life much easier :)

Excellent product and excellent customer care This is the third time-clock I own and by far the best of all. It is a very easy 15 min set-up process. I love the fact you can set up a reminder alarm for those who forgot to clock in. It is also very nice because it calculates the total number of hours at the end of each day and by pressing 2 buttons you can do the total of the hours worked in a pay period. I did not fully set up the clock and it did not add the hours for me. I e-mailed the u-punch customer care and I got a response in 24hours and they explained to me what I was supposed to do to take advantage of the clock abilities. Highly recommended product.

Daily punching issues for multiple employees. Takes anywhere from 3-10 attempts for employees to punch in or out. No rhyme or reason to the issues. Different people, different times of day. Different days of week. It's just junk. Issues since day 3 of use. In use for 3 months now and going to just trash it and go back to the basic time clock we used in the past which worked great every time and lasted us 5+ years. Our mistake for thinking something only slightly more advanced (this time clock calculates time the other does not, just punches time) would be able to hold up to daily use by 10 people. And yes we did try all of the troubleshooting tips and it would work for a couple of people and then by time to go home it was messing up again.

I was skeptical that a time clock this inexpensive would be good enough for my busy office, but so far I’m happily surprised. It was easy to set up, came with everything I needed to get going, and hasn’t missed a punch. I would definitely recommend this for any small business that need an inexpensive and reliable system.

uPunch is easy to set up and use BUT they have a set lifetime. This is probably my 10th uPunch time clock I have purchased and I have had this issue with every single one of them. The ink just stops working around the 1.5 - 2 year mark. It makes it impossible to read the time punched onto the paper. I do not know why this part of the mechanic always breaks down because other than that the machine works "fine". But what is the point of having a time machine if you cannot see the time?

would actually give 3.5 stars if possible. Works, but about 75% of time the cards wont read in the machine from one day to the next. A clock in on a Monday could go fine, then Tuesday it just will read out error messages. The In and Out buttons could be better indicated what they are for - as in Start Shift, Break, Return from Break, End of Shift and then the last two IN and OUT buttons are actually for finalizing hours. Had to write actual button functions on the machine myself so staff new what was what. And sometimes the final calculation is off. A number of times it would calcualte a 38 hour week for example with no overtime, but then when I manually added all the time up, it was more like 34 hours of regular hours and 1 hour of OT. At this point it as used as a reference for actual time in and time out for each employee, and when running payroll I have to still manually add up all hours myself to make sure it is correct. Works okay, but not perfect.

This is my second Upunch time clock. This model is great and the total time calculation makes it simple for my accountant.

Works well but the time rounding function doesn't have enough choice to round up or back the way I wanted it to. Has built in alarm for breaks which is helpful
