As others have mentioned, these types of hinges require a LOT of care to mount accurately. I built a router jig for my plunge router and did a bunch of practice cuts in order to get the pocket sizing and process dialed in. The spacing between hinges also has to be just right as there are no good adjustment options. I made it even more difficult on myself by using (5) hinges per door on my custom 8' doors instead of getting heavier duty hinges and using fewer of them. The hinges were of adequate quality and the doors still open and close nicely after about a year of daily use.

With these hinges you get what you pay for. I ordered them due to a time constraint, they were available the next day. The build quality does not come close to the smooth opening and closing of SOSS hinges. Given the price I did not expect them to be perfect, but I would not use them again.

Had to replace damaged hinge... No local source could be found, and if I did the cost was ridiculous. Found these, and yes they are made in china, and the finish product a little rough. But they fit and work fine so far. The cost was a fraction of some of the replacements out there... Delivery was quick and convenient.
