Lovely small kettle ! It’s only1.2l but it’s enough for 2 people!

The kettle feels well made and of good quality. It is stylish and fits in well with our modern kitchen. It is only 1.25 litres, plenty for three mugs, however it boils quickly so making multiple drinks is not really a problem. It is well balanced when pouring and pours without splashing even when on the boil. The metal lid fits snugly and when removed there is plenty of room around the handle to fill direct from the tap. The mesh filter is also readily accessible for cleaning. It weighs around 945g when empty and around 2.25kg when filled to the max level, the metal handle feels sturdy and secure with plenty of room to get a firm grip. All in all a great buy.

Bought as part of a set, its smaller than we have ever had but surprisingly is not a problem? Stops people boiling too much water for just 1 cup of tea/ coffee. Smart and solid, quick to boil

I love the shape and style of this cute little kettle. Have found no fault with it. So far it still looks shiny and clean sitting neatly on its base. It was a replacement for a brushed stainless steel one (not the same make) which was a nightmare to keep clean, the trim peeled off, the lid knob broke off. I particularly like the lid handle on this. Just a delight to use. After slightly over a year there is a fault with the switch; kettle keeps switching itself off. Very frustrating.

Very expensive kettle, which stopped working after just 15 months. I really expected so much more from a KitchenAid branded product. The company has built its success on its iconic food mixers. However, don't be fooled by this, as this kettle offers very little in the way of quality and functionality. It looks very impressive, but it takes longer to boil than most kettles, plus as some other reviewers have mentioned, water and condensation collects between the kettle and the base, and the position of the handle makes it awkward to fill. All in all, it doesn't have much going for it. To top it all, the customer service I received from KitchenAid was extremely poor. As the kettle was still under guarantee, I was asked to package it up and send it back to them for inspection, ....almost 3 weeks later I received an email saying that the kettle could not be repaired. By this time I had already purchased another kettle, which was a quarter of the price and was far superior in quality.

Very first, placed order for onyx black.. received red. Returning to exchange in this pandemic and lockdown is a pain... so decided to keep it! Design is good, but practically pouring water is little difficult, the handle is an obstruction.
