I got this for myself to use while streaming on twitch and it sounds pretty good. The microphone is quite sensitive to noise so if you live next to a busy road you will hear the outside noise when replaying the recording.I was surprised to see that the microphone works fine when pronouncing hard S or P. +1points on that.PS. if you use it and for some reason, the battery dies, all you have to do is twist slowly and unscrew the middle part. It uses watch batteries

Bought this to use with a small audio FX unit and mini-amp on vocals & harmonica, therefore needing the in-line battery power (not required for phones which supply power through the jack connector). Works well, nicely finished and decent sound for speech as well as my musical dabbling.

Didn’t work correctly

I bought this for streaming as I didn't have a lot to spend. I was amazed at the quality of this thing. Audio comes through loud, clear, and without any distortion. 100% would recommend if you're not looking for a cardioid mic.

Doesn't work to standard they say. You can hardly hear your recording. I've checked all levels. My laptop and the two other web cams I've got record better audio. Waste of money!

The usb connector works. The mic is reasonably clear but for streaming I need my speakers to play music as well. Unfortunately I thought I could have both with this connector but no. Hence the return.

Due to covid-19 I have been working from home, I use hearing equipment as have partial hearing so this lapel mic was a good option as don't need a headset. Very impressed response is that the sound is very clear.
