Decent germination (70%) so far and there are a good number of seeds per packet. I stratified the planted seeds in the refrigerator for a few weeks and they sprouted within a few days of removing them from the cold. A few seedlings lacked vigor and died, but the others are developing the true leaves.

Spring time 🌱

Started these seeds inside about mid spring. Even though I left them in their seedling trays for a 2 week vacation they lived through it. I transplanted outside to the garden (I only seeded 2 plants) Both plants are healthy and growing well. Highly recommend, easy to grow. Just make sure you plant them somewhere you don’t plan to move them. I have researched that they will grow deep roots and could be hard to get rid of, but I don’t plan to ever move them.

Comfrey is known as the bone healer. I will plant these in spring and see what happens. Not expensive and high quality.
