What is the ph of TartarEnd toothpaste?

The pH of TartarEnd® toothpaste is buffered to a mildly basic 8.6 pH. This pH neutralizes the plaque acids formed by bacteria that erode tooth enamel and irritate gums.

Can this product be good against softening between the teeth? (+flossing)

Yes, TartarEnd® Toothpaste dissolves and softens tartar and plaque on the teeth, between the teeth and between the teeth and gums. The normal 2-minute brushing cycle of a sonic toothbrush brushing at 30,000 vibrations per minute or 60,000 movements per minute (1 vibration = 2 movements ) is excellent for removing softened tartar and plaque beyond the reach of toothbrush bristles. Flossing after brushing with TartarEnd® and using string or tape flossers, “tree” flossers, “thin” wooden flossers, or water flossers have been found to be highly effective in removing additional softened tartar and plaque. Flossing before brushing with TartarEnd® toothpaste will not remove hard tartar.

Does it cause cavities?

No, TartarEnd toothpaste does not cause cavities. It has an RDA below 60. This RDA value would classify it as having mild abrasivity. The FDA sets a maximum safe level for toothpaste RDA of 200. Many commercial toothpastes have RDAs of 100 or more.
