The SMALLRIG Metal Phone Mount with Baseplate is hands-down one of the best phone mounting solutions I’ve used for mobile videography. The build quality is exceptional — solid aluminum construction that feels premium and durable, with no flimsy plastic parts. It holds my phone securely without any wobble, even when mounted on a tripod, gimbal, or slider. The design is thoughtful and professional. The baseplate adds extra stability and multiple mounting points (¼”-20 and cold shoe mounts) that make it super easy to attach lights, microphones, or other accessories. The adjustable clamp mechanism is smooth and strong, accommodating different phone sizes with or without a case. What I really appreciate is how compact yet functional it is. It’s perfect for creators who shoot on their phone but want a more professional, modular setup. It also looks great and feels like a piece of high-end camera gear. If you’re serious about mobile filmmaking, vlogging, or content creation, the SMALLRIG Metal Phone Mount with Baseplate is absolutely worth it. Ich finde den Halter praktisch und ausreichend. Bin zufrieden. Hält das Handy sehr gut, und ich kann noch eine Lampe an der Seite montieren, was ich schon gemacht. Funktioniert.
