I have been using the regular formula (the pink lid one) since it came out. There wasn't a huge selection of micellar waters available when they hit the American market. The pink lid one ALWAYS left a film on a skin and caused breakouts so I would only use it to remove makeup then I would have to wash my face. I RARELY wear makeup since I work from home and I wanted a product to use to occasionally remove any excess oil or dirt from the day or before bed if it's one of those days that I'm just too tired to do my entire nightly skincare routine (I always do it in the morning, so I just want something to clean/refresh my face before bed). THIS formula is so much better than the original one! Even though my face was clean from the morning and I hadn't worn ANY makeup, the cotton pad showed dirt and oil. I just put on some moisturizer and went to bed and my skin looks great! I have sensitive, combo, acne-prone skin and this product doesn't cause any issues and it doesn't leave a film like the original formula. This will be the only micellar water I will use.

I don't know what magic this is, but it takes makeup right off without residue and makes your skin feel amazing afterward!

I know that most people who purchase this are women who are using it to remove makeup. From what I can see, the item gets high marks for that. But I, a man, have a different use: being given a naturally oily face, I can drip out a little bit of this cleansing water on a textured microfiber cloth, and gently rub my face with it. It is not only refreshing but takes away almost all the facial oils, leaving a good skin appearance. I had not heard about this use of this item until someone told me about it, and I was deeply skeptical, because I've tried all kinds of anti-oil cleaners over many years, and none really worked well. This one does. So, whether it's for makeup removal or just keeping a man's face fresh at the office all day, this item is a winner. Five Stars.

I was confused, I have dry skin and I ordered for large skin but it still works and I don't have much problem. The bottle is a very good size

I bought 2 bottles that were twice the size of these 2 at Costco for $2 more.
