Update: the seats have become very comfortable after they fully expanded. The velcro issue I discussed in my original review was actually lack of observation on my part. I noticed when I went to add velcro to the ottoman cushions that there actually is velcro...very hood quality velcro strips, actually...and on ALL the cushions, both seats and backs. It is covered up with a matching black material that needs to be ripped off to reveal it. Now my cushions don't move. I absolutely love everything about this sofa!This quickly arrived in 6 boxes over the course of a few short days. I was really impressed with how quickly this arrived....If I had gone down to one of the big box furniture stores in my area (there are several), I would have had to wait longer for this to be delivered from them locally. It took approximately an hour after unboxing for the assembly to be complete. I did the majority of the assembly myself, and my teenage daughter assisted with holding getting the back pieces attaced to 3 sections, which was just helpful because I have limited hip mobilty and she could get a better hold of those pieces to attach. The feet are plasitc, but sturdy, and look like painted wood. The ottomans provide spacious storage and perfect for keeping blankets, board games, etc.The material is soft and velvety smooth. It has a very tight luxurious weave. We had a small spill in the first couple days and the water wiped away clean and dry right away. The seat cushions are bit more firm than I prefer, but my husband likes them. The back cushions are softer. The ottoman top cushions are also firm, and they do move a little easier than I would prefer, so I am considering velcro strips to hold them in place better.Overall, this is a beautiful sectional sofa and fits my space really well. It seems very well made, sturdy, strong, with good materials. I would compare this to the living room furnishings I have purchased from furniture stores in their mid-grade departments, along the name brand lines of Broyhill, and definitely superior to Ashley...I have purchased many pieces of furniture in these quality ranges for my own home and my STRs and offices over the years, and feel I can accurately give these comparisons. Customer service was friendly and quick to respond to a question I had about shipping (only 2 boxes arrived in the first shipment, and they provided me with the tracking information of the remaining boxes).I considered provided a 4 star based on the cushions being extra firm (they do expand and get a little softer), and the ottoman cushions sliding...but as my husband likes the firm, that is really a personal comfort thing and not worth detracting from the quality of sofa. As for the ottoman cushions sliding, they don't slide so much as to be an issue...again, its just my preference and velcro will easily solve the issue for probably $2. Overall, especially at this price, this sofa is a steal, beautiful, sturdy, well made, provides both ample storage and plenty of seating or room to stretch out, arrives quickly, and goes together easily.

I've waited several months to write this review, as I wanted to provide not just my first impression of the sectional, but an honest opinion after several months of use. Purchased in early September 2024.I was very hesitant to buy online without trying the couch first, but after visiting several local stores and seeing very slim options and very steep price tags, I decided on this one. I selected the 9-Seater which is a U Shape sectional with 2 storage ottomans and reversible corner sections. The Seller, Vasson Direct, was very helpful and proactive with delivery information. I felt that I had hundreds of questions, but they were very responsive and assuaged my fears of making a couch purchase online.The couch was packaged very well, with zero damage or missing parts. The boxes delivered over several days, and all tracking information was provided for each box. The arrival was weeks before any of the local stores could accommodate!Putting together was super easy, and I did it without assistance.The velvet is a beautiful, deep navy shade, that is wearing exceptionally well, even with teenagers. Spills have cleaned up thoroughly without stain or texture change. Setting and rearranging is very easy.The cushions are FIRM, yet comfortable. The firmness in other reviews is what drew me to this couch though. I do not enjoy sinking down in the cushions, which is always difficult to get out of!If I had a complaint, it would be the fill and firmness of the back cushions. Pictures showed only about 1/2 inch difference, but the fill used leaves them lacking the plushness of the seat cushion.For the price, this couch is a really good value. I don't regret purchasing and would definitely buy from HONBAY and Vasson Direct in the future.

When i ordered this i had no idea how this was going to be. Took several days for 5 boxes to come. So i pulled stuff out to let cushions inflate. The sixth box took 5 days to come. But i noticed that my ottomans did not have a tray i looked everywhere. So i texted the seller and they said oh your got 2 plain ones. Gave me 2 options with what is next. I took the option of another single seat and an ottoman with a tray. That took a few days to come but well worth the wait. I did have a bit of trouble putting those together as i had to lift up one to slide into the other. They were the last pieces to be put together. Be careful with putting the backs on one slipped as i was putting it in and fell on my foot causing bad bruising and me yelling. Makes sure you have shoes on and are very careful. Ok now i am the happiest person as i took a nap on it and i am spending a lot of time on this. comfy as can be. Seats are just right so are the backs. Added pillows and blankets to it and i am home sweet home

I was excited and did some reading up on other reviews. When I received the sofa and started building i was a little skeptical. Once it was completely built, I was disappointed. This is not a good couch for kids with a family and everyday use. Very cheap. Cushions are super thin. They fold over. There’s a space between each piece. We followed their instructions on how to “fix” that but it didnt work. Cheap cotton filling on the inside. This couch is more for display. When I reached out to the manufacturer, they offered me $450 instead of the $1,300 we paid. So disappointing. Recommend for staging a house only.

Soft velvety feel sectional. Has compartments for blankets or toys in the ottomans. The size is a little narrower than expected but made well. Not a good napping couch. Perfect for a family room.
