I bought two whistles before, but they didn’t fit. This one fits perfectly and works great with my 5L Hawkins Black Contura pressure cooker.

Works well and durable

Broke the old by dropping it in the old sink motor. At times water splashes out badly. I’m not sure it’s because of the water level in the cooker or a bad product. Can decide based on other reviews

The Hawkins website stated this was the correct part for my pressure cooker, but it did not fit - the one that came with the pressure cooker did not fit either. Will be trying the largest size, which I hope will fit because the pressure cooker itself is very well made.

When your previous pressure regulator goes down the disposal while it is on, this is a welcome replacement! It brought my pressure cooker back to life!
