I bought this to replace a rail cover for my dad's pool. The old one only lasted a couple years in the hot Phoenix sun. It was extremely thick and made installation and removal very difficult. By contrast, this one was very easy to install because it is thinner and has a smaller zipper/teeth. My dad was concerned about sturdiness, so PRO TIP - twist the sleeve after installing it. This helps keep it tight and reduces puckering of the zipper. As for grip, it's OK. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. It gets extremely hot, so we're glad we went with the gray color instead of the various blues we found. It will likely not fade as quickly as well. All in all, dad has a new cover and a spare one should this one fall apart just as quickly as the old one.

Snug made it easy to put them on my bar. But they move when griped making the process of exiting the pool a bit dicey.

I love the item. Does it's job in the hot sun, however it's not sun friendly. The sun starts to deteriorate it. The way my railing is, I am able to turn it upside down and get at least 2 seans out of it.

These handrails I have used for over a year and they have NOT faded or have not torn. We use our pool a lot. A must buy.

My last blue handrail cover, the color faded within a month and it was rags within the year, so this is a new company and a grey color. It was easy to install. It didn't cover like 8 feet but more like 6 feet. Will update on durability.

The cover is very thin and gives the impression that it will not last long under Florida sun. The installation is simple however the zipper is too small and difficult to hook. It comes folded in 4 parts and the folding marks remain on the outside of the cover even when placed on the railing. It has annoying visible wrinkles and it moves on the handrail, which gives a sensation of instability. Will return to Amazon.
