This mic for the price is pretty good. I’m a singer and used it on an app. It’s just as good as my car mics. Just depends on what you want mic you like to sing from . Hand held, hanging car w phantom power. Overall for the price it’s good. As for the app, you do not need to download irig app. There are many singing apps. But you must pay for most. It doesn’t effect the quality of this I have an irig amp for my professional mic and irig are great items.

Very bad quality on sound. Many noises from the surrounding. My earphones work better than this garbage! Do not buy because of the cheap price!

For those who had purchased the first iRig mic, this is similar. Perhaps slightly lower in quality as it is a casual microphone. I had purchased this to compare it across all three mics: iRig mic, iRig Voice and iRig mic HD. Of course, HD wins hands down in terms of quality, but I still preferred the simplicity of connection with this mic.

This was such a great gift for our 7 year old grand-daughter. She started singing as soon as she turned it on and has sung into it with her hand me down iPhone every day since her birthday mid-February. It not only keeps her occupied it keeps her away from the computer & television. She loves to sing and has learned new songs which helps her learn to read. It's a win-win situation and fun on family night, too.

I bought 2 of these for Christmas because I wanted to be able to hear my 3yo daughter sing Karaoke and I also got one for my 5yo niece. Unfortunately when you plug the mic into your iphone you can only hear the music and yourself singing if you plug in the headphones. The problem is, I wanted to hear them sing. I thought the solution might be plugging it into a speaker system but that doesn't work either. I feel that the advertising is misleading. It shows kids singing Karaoke using the mic when, in fact, you cannot hear anything unless you have headphones plugged in and no one can hear you. Totally useless. I also am getting the audiobus issue. Save yourself a lot of headache with this mic. I am returning both of mine.

Works great. Plug into iPad and downloaded the Smule app. Bought for my 10 year old. Has duel adapter so another iRig Microphone can be plugged in to sing together or headphones.

Quality is excellent. Sounds are great. Design is very nice. The negative about this mic is the size. It's too big to bring with you anywhere and you need to have an app to operate it. This mean, you can't sing songs on youtube or your own songs.

I bought this right before thanksgiving and the price was $49.99. A few days prior, it was only $29.99. My daughter has wanted it so I bought it for the increases price, thinking this was actually a higher quality. It has five stars, but only with one review. The voice recording was not clear and my daughter was very disappointed. She is 11 years old and was hoping for better quality. The volume through the karoke app was very low and didn't play consistently. I returned it, and was stuck with a 40% restocking fee. Missed that in the fine print, I would not buy this for anything over $29.99. It is good for that price, but make sure shipping is free. Please note that with the suggested apps, it didn't work 100% of the time. Very disappointed in this product for the price I paid. Made me angry they pumped up the price for the holiday buyers.

La verdad es que se nos han roto dos micrófonos de la misma manera. El interruptor de encendido deja de funcionar porque se introduce hacia adentro al mínimo golpe que recibe el micronograma. Supongo que es un fallo nuestro por golpearlo. Sin embargo me da la impresión de que el interruptor se desencaja con demasiadà facilidad.

Works very well, app is easy to use. Nice weight to it, does not feel cheap.

No funciona ni en los altavoces amplificados del PC ni en el movil android con una app de karaoke recomendada en la propia caja.

Ce micro est exceptionnel, d'un audio formidable, la voix est claire, sans grésillement, vraiment je n'ai rien à redire, que du bonheur! Je m'en sers pour mes enregistrements des vidéos à mettre sur Youtube et le résultat est excellent !
