This is a standard, good-quality jump rope, in my opinion. I am, in-fact, able to jump it, so it works as advertised. For people just looking for a good, solid rope fore exercise - this is a great buy. It's nothing fancy, just a rope that jumps real good. A few features to point out: It's tangle free. I'm not sure how many jump ropes have issues with getting tangled, but I can confirm that this one does not tangle easy. It can wrap around itself and twist a bit, but it's always super easy to reset with a couple shakes, unless you purposefully tie it in a knot. It's adjustable, technically. According to the listing, it is an adjustable rope. I could not figure out how to do adjust it myself, but one of the video reviews featured a helpful tutorial. Basically you twist of one of the caps off the handles, open then clasp on the rope, slide it, then re-clasp at your desired level. By default it comes at very nearly its longest, and can be adjusted shorter. At its (almost) longest, it's pretty much ideal for me - and I'm about 6 feet tall. Any taller and this might be a bit short for your needs. Good swing. It's exactly what you want a jump rope to be. It's light and very easy to swing.
