Dansko Women's Sam Sandals - Comfort, Support, Womens Dress Sandals

I bought these to wear with skirts and dresses, and they look great. I hate the feel of "closed in" shoes, so these fit-the-bill for a basic black dressy winter shoe. They are true to my regular Dansko size. This is the 4th pair of Danskos that I own from their "Sausalito" collection. I LOVE THIS footbed; it has the arch I need and it's comfortable enough to wear all day long. I've ordered some of Dansko's shoes from other collections and they were not comfortable (even when just testing them around the house), they lacked "cushion", so I had to return them. I always do my research at the Dansko website (you can do a search for any shoe name and then read about the footbed construction under "technical features"). I believe I have had "plantar fasciitis" for a long time (from what I've researched about the symptoms). So about a year ago, at the urging of my husband, I began buying and wearing only shoes with arches (research into shoes led me to the Dansko and FitFlop brands). From the first week that I started wearing only these brands, all of the pain in my feet was completely gone. I even own a pair dedicated as my "at-home" shoes, because if I wear slippers, or go barefoot, the exact same pain from before returns. While the cost of these shoes are alot more than I used to spend on shoes, they're definitely worth it for relief from the excruciating pain. We're going on a 7-day cruise in a few months, which always entails lots of walking around the ship, and it's really great to know that all 3 pairs of shoes I'm bringing will keep my feet comfortable. I've also been pleased with the quality of all of the Danskos (and FitFlops) that I purchased and I'm quite sure they'll last much longer than a normal shoe. The only place I shop for shoes now is online (cause Danskos and FitFlops are only carried at two stores here in my local area, but in limited styles). Being a typical woman "shoe addict", it's become fun to "find" styles I like online, and then monitor them until they go on sale! I've gotten some really good deals (Amazon is the best place to shop, but just make sure they are returnable in case they don't fit or have the comfort level you need).

I ordered these for my daughter as a gift. They are beautifully made, comfortable, and fit true-to-size. They look equally nice with dresses or slacks and jeans. She loves them!

I have a narrow foot. Size 7 1/2 US. Ordered the size 37 as I had a similar style in a 37 that fit perfectly and are comfortable for standing in all day. However this style (Sam) was just a tad too short. They are so pretty, and look like they’d last a long time. I returned them and ordered a size 38. I can’t wait to get the size 38, and hopefully be able to give a five star review if they fit. Danskos are not only comfortable on my feet, but they offer good support so that my back and legs don’t hurt. I really hope these fit in this color because they are neutral and should go with pants, jeans, dresses and skirts. I got the 38 and put an insert in the bed of the toe box as seen in the first picture. I wear a 71/2 US size which puts me between a 37 and 38 size. Some Danskos I wear a 37 and some a 38. I think these will work in the 38 with the half insoles for the toe bed. They are beautiful!

These are the most comfortable "heel" that I've ever worn. I've walked all day in them many times. No blisters even the first time I wore them, however - the strap on the left ankle is very tight - tighter than the right ankle. This strap actually gave me a bruise on my ankle. Still a great pair of shoes.

Comfortable, good quality, classy look, goes with everything

Seemed fairly comfortable, but I had to return them because they were too small. I have plantar fasciitis and flat feet so I need custom orthotics; these can’t accommodate insoles. I decided to return these - they didn’t really work for me.

The color was just as depicted. The size, fit and width were almost perfect. Since I have plantar faciatis, flat feet that are very wide (between a D & E width)I require a shoe that has good arch support. Dansko always fits the bill. I can stand and walk without pain in my feet in these shoes. Because I have balance problems, I require a modest heel in my shoes. These shoes are great for a somewhat elderly woman. Do not hesitate on buying these shoes. I highly recommend buying them.

This is a quality shoe. I adored everything about it, the camel color, comfort on one foot. Unlucky me I have a freaky toe on my right foot and combine that with diabetes it becomes dangerous as the shoe rubs my toe and is painful. The arch support and style of this brand was perfect. If I didn't have the toe issue I know I would have these beauties for a long time. So sad I had to return.

They design and cushion helped my feet a great deal.

Ovviamente è un modello particolare e deve piacere , con questa premessa io le adoro. Ci si cammina bene e sono comode. Per me vestono il numero giusto ma sarei stata curiosa di provare un numero in più perchè con il caldo mi gonfia il piede e tendono un po' a stringere. Unico neo è che avendo la pianta del piede un po' larga tendono a tagliarmi un po' dopo diverse ore che le porto. Penso che chiederò ad un calzolaio se è possibile allargarle.

Il modello dal vivo è ancora più carino rispetto all’immagine, il sandalo è comodissimo ed il numero calza bene e giusto, ordinato ed arrivato il giorno seguente !Sono pienamente soddisfatta!
