Great Wireless Unit!
I have had MANY, and I mean many wireless units over the years all the way to Nady. I've had full-pro rackmount units and smaller line 6 units and portable "bug" type units and the Boss unit is amazing. Very natural sound, great build quality, reliable. The only thing I wish they had was either a quality case or even better a charging case. That would completely put them over the top but they sound incredible and that is ultimately what really matters.

Awesome product! High quality. Simple plug and play. Very little latency and great sound!
This is a great product! I've been using this with a variety of instruments and its very simple and easy to use. Compact enough that it doesn't take up much room at all and easy to throw into a gig bag. A little pricey, but the quality is amazing. Little to no latency and the sound quality is amazing. No more tripping over cables or cable routing. just plug and play, it doesn't get much better. I've had this for a couple years now and it continues to perform like new! Highly recommend getting yourself one!

Doesn't work with UA Arrow interface
On my UA Arrow interface the Hi-Z TS cable input jack has a slight recess / countersink and the WL-20 receiver will not insert fully. Not sure if there is anything in the TS spec that defines the dimensions for the plug and jack, so not sure who to blame on this. If your amp / interface has a similar countersink, you may end up with the same problem. Looks like I'll be forced to do some messy short TS male/female cable thing to make this work, or maybe switch to the WL-50 and use a short patch cable. Update: The WL-20 works great with my UA Apollo Twin and UA Apollo 8p interfaces. No problem seating the receiver, sound is great and no noticeable latency. So I think the blame mostly has to go to Universal Audio for recessing the Hi-Z jack, but Boss should have taken this possibility into account when designing the receiver. I suspect the Arrow is not the only device that might have this issue.

Goodbye patch cable
I am forever stepping on my patch cables when I play the electric guitar and found the wireless system when I was looking around on Amazon for other guitar gear. Boss has a good name when it comes to musical gear so I decided to try a pair of these out. Like most of the other reviews stated the components sync up quickly and you can charge both up while they are connected physically. These are very easy to use. I am still wearing the first charge down as far as I can and it's been several hours so far. The 10 hour charge claim seems to be true so far. I initially thought that my wireless signal was getting clipped at low volume but it turned out to be one of my sound pedals. Once I figured that out I was able to hear the full sustain from my guitars. If you plan on playing guitar often I think this is a good product (considering the price). When I think of how many times I have had to fix or replace patch cables (or fix a busted port on one of my guitars) I think these will be worth it.

Signal DROPS - Even line-of-sight just a few ft away!!! Would NOT Recommend to anyone ever!!!
I own Boss products and think highly of that brand -- that's exactly why i went for what was one of the most expensive options for wireless guitar systems (there were many cheaper options). I don't even mind that it is a bit bulky, if it worked that is. I bought a set and sent it back thinking it was defective. I remember thinking Boss could never make something so terrible as this! The second pair i received was just as bad. The units stay connected but the signal drops or you can hear the interference. To keep this short, basically there was no way to go through a complete song without absolutely any drops unless i was facing the Rx and about 3 ft away! Yes, there is a lot of 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz radios where i am but still - reviewers say this can work through walls and/or 50 ft away. I now have 3 units and NONE are NOWHERE near any of these claims. I am sending two back and keeping one just for the heck of it (I still like Boss) but i thought i would share this info in hopes that they improve this unit. That's my experience, if it works for you - that's great and i am happy for you. However, if you are not brand loyal and just want to go wireless, there are many more cheaper options to explore. Enjoy your guitar, rock on .. and i hope soon we will see a Boss system that actually works! Update: I have since bought a set from a different brand that is thinner, less expensive, comes with a case that actually charges the units while not in use and these work flawlessly, near and far from the amp and I never had a single signal drop or interference..

Get itttt
Havnt used it for a show but I play at home and practice and get some good range out of it, Not noisy at all, responsive, clean good power. I run it through an abundance of pedals from an evh el34 amp and it kicks a$$. Handles high gain and cleans very well

Wow! I feel so free! Such an amazing invention.
I've tried a couple different wireless guitar systems and they were awful. I was skeptical about this one. However, I decided to give it a shot. You get what you pay for! I'm in love with this wireless setup. Everything about it is amazing. I feel so free using it! Things I love most: ++ Little to no latency ++ Not much interference, very stable connection ++ No noticable difference in sound in a live setting The only issues I ever have are when I forget that my cell phone is in my pocket. If you have wireless devices too close to you, the connection will break up. I'm a huge fan of these! If you are a performing/gigging guitarist, I highly recommend you give these a try! You won't regret it!

I have been using this since October and so far it's working great. It doesn't have the range my Samson had but it also doesn't have the headache of running an extra guitar cable and needing an extra place to plug power into. This can sometimes be an issue when playing in older buildings. So you just charge it up before the gig and go. My bass player had issues with his wl 20l for his active bass but as we all know, every now and then, we can end up with a dud but in the end his issue ended up being with L&M that were more interested in sending it off to be fixed and making him wait rather than just replace it but I digress and these are fantastic little units.

The only reason why I gave it a 4 star is because you need to find a stable connection and that takes more than a few attempts, but once the signal no longer cuts and is stable, it works great and stays that way for a long time. I'm a living room guitar player, can't imagine gigging and having these lost of signal issues live!! The reason why I bought them, even though it's fairly expensive, is because I was introduced to the same wireless technology on my Boss Waza Air Headphones and for a reason I don't know, I've never experienced an unstable connection with them and it's the exact same technology. Actually this product was originally designed for the Waza Air.
