My dad needed an head protection option (as he can be slightly clumsy when working on projects) that wasn't overly heavy or bulky. The joke in our house is its never a good job or job done until some blood is donated :p. I can't say enough things about this safety bump cap baseball hat! My husband needs to wear a hard hat at work but absolutely hated the one supplied by his company. Thankfully he was able to get approval to use this hat instead, and it's been great! While it's definitely noticeable that it isn't a typical baseball hat, the look and feel are miles ahead of a traditional hard hat. It's much more comfortable and stylish, allowing him to work with ease while still being protected. The fit is great, and he loves that he can wear it for extended periods without discomfort. If you're in a similar situation where safety is a must but you want something more comfortable and visually appealing, I highly recommend this bump cap! It's a perfect blend of practicality and style. 5 stars all the way!

I immediately put this bump cap to work, as I had to work under my F250 truck to install a new fuel pump (which necessitates removing the fuel tank!). This meant that I had to spend a LONG time under the truck to remove the gas tank, install the new fuel pump, and reinstall the tank, all by myself (which is why it took hours!). There were several times I'm sure a frame member or protruding bolt would have dinged me, but never fear, bump cap is here! LOL One additional advantage which I hadn't thought of, was my elasticated LED Head Lamp. It fit perfectly over the bump cap, and now it didn't cut off the blood to my head! Brilliant. Worked perfectly, fit well, and comfortable. It was a cool day, so I couldn't comment on how well it's ventilated, but for sure it kept my head out of the wind. Great product.
