SUPER GLUE ! Great product highly recommended ...for use on dark wood...
So Far so good....trying to repair an old wooden desk chair that has some small cracks in it here & there and one major one down the middle of the seat that will need some wood backing...But the glue I applied a few days ago has gone from the tan color to a nice dark color in a few hours . And the hold on the base of the arm rests seems to be real solid , I still have more to apply to the underside. The seat crack down the middle is major and will need more glue from the bottom and some wood straps applied. But so far so good very happy with the glue as delivered....bottle is big enough for many jobs like this and has a very nice easy to use resealable pull push , open / close top... no bad smell... been about a week now and the glue did a great job , holds up fine let it dry real well till it's rock hard a couple of days and BOOM got my chair back as good as new....that is some great glue....dries to a clear dark color from the tan color when first applied..

Still THE essential for gluing walnut or other dark woods.
I've used this for years, and it still performs best on darker woods when there is the slightest possibility of a visible glue joint. Excellent bond, grab, and cure for laminating boards for turning. Holds up well over time, and While an hour clamp time is recommended, I have been able to release clamps in as little as fifteen minutes with no loss of strenght once fully cured (24 hrs). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

As Good as the Standard
This has functioned for me the same as the non-tinted version which I use a lot of every year, I tried this for some walnut, mahogany and oak projects I worked on this summer, outside of the darker color it functions the same.

Great holding power, with ability to hide on dark surfaces.
I like that it drys to a dark brown. I use it to seal around the bottom of walls and partical board cabinets in my Rv. It matchs the cabinets. I seal around the door frames next to the floor. I have used it to seal hardwood floors. If you have any fake paper woodgrain coming off of something, you can use this to put it back and hide the problem. This product and a dark brown magic marker works wonders, in maintaining the cheap dark brown interor of my Rv. All Tibond products are what the professionals recommend. My uncle is 80 years old and can build anything you want, from furniture to a house. He said this glue holds more than nails after it dries.

Titebond is great glue. Dark glue makes working with walnut super easy.
Titebond is just good stuff. When working with a lot of walnut, I got this to minimize the yellow glue line that was bound to show up. It just does what it is supposed to do. And, if I don't quite get all the glue off, the darkness of the glue still doesn't show up

World famous Franklin Titebond glue, with a light brown tint. Blends well with Mahogany. Albeit, a bit pricey.
