Many people prefer powder laundry detergent to liquid because it just cleans better. Out of all of the free and clear laundry detergent options, this is the best in my opinion. I have noticed an increase in price. Just a few months ago you could get this for under $14, but now it is fluctuating anywhere between $26-$40. I was concerned that it would be discontinued, but I called Arm & Hammer and thankfully there are no reports of it being discontinued. Not sure why the sudden price increase, but I truly hope that Amazon offers this at the reasonable price it once did. To Arm & Hammer: please never discontinue this product. It is so helpful to many who need to have a free and clear option due to allergies/sensitivites to fragrances, and there are not very many free and clear POWDERED laundry detergent options that work well. Keep selling this five star product, thank you!

This is the best laundry detergent! It doesn’t come in a gigantic plastic bin… Recyclable cardboard. That’s do hard to find at the stores around me. I feel like this is a really healthy choice as well. I put the powder into a glass candy jar on my shelf, too which is aesthetically pleasing as well. I usually use less than the scoop recommended as well and my clothes come out clean. Love it!

i only knocked it down a star bc when i bought it november, it costed a little over $13. went to buy it in january (granted, that’s how long it lasted, i still have a decent amount left and use it for all all laundry in my home) it costs double. i choose it bc it was a great deal, i love powdered laundry, and i trusted arm and hammers formula to do great. it’s a great detergent. i am just sick of companies increasing prices

Make sure to open the the box in a sink or garbage bag. I store it in a bag. No big deal but powdered soap can spill out. I add a bit of a natural liquid detergent to enhance fresher smell. I purchase it because it is in a cardboard box vs. plastic. I don't have extra dirty or smelly clothes so good enough for everyday washings.
