Horace products feel like premium products without a really premium price tag. They are not cheap but nevertheless feel like good value. I was really happy to be asked to provide a review as I have used other Horace products in the past and have really liked them. The hair wax provides a good level of hold. It is easy to apply as very smooth, with no reside and no visible signs of the product itself once applied. The description doesn’t specifically say what the scent is, but I would liken it to sandalwood. Initially, when first applied, the scent is quite strong, but for me, this had the effect of making me feel I was using a high end product and treating myself. A bit like when you come out of a barbers. I found the product easy to wash out and I didn’t have to use too much of it as I have short to medium length hair. Because of the way it goes on so easily, I can apply some more later if you need to touch up your hair or get extra depth or choppyness. How long it will last depends on a number of factors such as hair length and style, but I would say that you don’t need much of it compared to some other products. There is an option to buy refills for the pot, which would save you a few pounds on a repeat purchase and obviously is a nice thought in terms of looking after the environment. This is definitely up there with other high end waxes and compares favourably in terms of performance. It’s a really nice product if this is about the amount you tend to spend of hair styling products

The HORACE Hair Wax Pomade arrived as described and looks just like the photos advertised. I've used a few products from this brand and I've always been impressed by the quality and performance of all their products. This one is no exception - it is a great product that added good texture and hold to my hair with no sign of greasiness or shine, which is exactly what I was looking for. The scent is nice I appreciate that it's not too overpowering. This pomade is also easy to wash out with a little shampoo. Great product, well worth the cost - I highly recommend!
