Works great, but maybe I would have done a few things differently.
I bought this to work on a plumbing update where I am removing all the galvanized and replacing with PEX. I got a Viega Manabloc as part of the project as well. Let me start off with the good, the cutter is sharp and true for cutting both 1/2" & 3/4" PEX. The crimper makes excellent crimps I have not had a problem with a single crimp I made that was properly placed. Getting a bunch of free crimps too was nice. Now let me go to the negatives. First of all if I was buying again I would have opted for Two crimpers, one for 1/2" & another for 3/4" mainly because in my case some of the places I had to crimp were a bit tight and having the extra large head to accommodate two sizes does not help the matter. I also think a single crimper might have worked better from the standpoint of being more of a one handed operation. When you open the crimper the head does not open wide enough to clear the pipe, I physically must use my second hand to open the jaws of the crimper to provide enough clearance to put the crimper over the pipe and the crimp. Maybe there is an adjustment on the crimper tool for this but it is not apparent and documentation is lacking. Speaking of crimps it could easily be bumped out of the correct position as the head of the crimper is so large; my solution to this was very simple as I took a bit of cellophane tape and wrapped it around the pipe and crimp so it stayed in the correct location. I could then move (using both hands) the crimper on top of the crimp in the correct position. As I mentioned earlier I have not had a bad crimp since I started using this method.

Great tool
I had never used one of these before. I was installing a tankless water heater and needed to hook up the water lines. This tool came with all the correct fitting and tools. I was very easy to use and about $60. Cheaper than the big box stores. Certainly worth the money.

Perfect pex installation tools
After one gets used to the amount of force needed to perform a crimp, this toolset was easy to use and use well. Every joint I attempted turned out leak free. The cutting tool sliced through the pex tubing easily. (Keep little fingers well away from the cutter!)The only caveat is to make certain the crimp tool has the required room to operate. Some prior planning is sometimes required to make certain that room is available before components are permanently mounted in tight spaces or next to studs. Not a big deal with prior planning, but do keep that in mind.
