Stylish and Robust Subwoofer Grille
Looks really nice in real life and it’s optional to put the Recoil decal in the centre. Thick steel so great protection for my low mounted subwoofer. For me it’s a shame that the grille’s surround isn’t metal too. Only other problem I found is that the 10” Recoil fits exactly over the lip of the sub’s bracket which means I’m going to have to drill new holes to match the Recoil’s screw hole pattern. No space for a 12”😕.

I have an older Rockford Fosgate P3 12 inch sub getting installed in the trunk of my sedan. Wanted some protection against other items that I may need to put in there. The grill doesn’t flex and should be able to withstand any accidental bumps. This grill fit almost perfectly. There was a slight flex in the mounting tabs so the holes lined up with the sub mounting holes. It also left clearance for the RockFord Fosgate trim ring and its mounting holes which are offset from the sub mounting holes. The plastic trim ring that came with the grill is pretty sturdy and would look good but since I had the metal OEM one I opted for that instead. There is about half an inch of clearance between the grill and the sub surround which should be enough when it’s operating.
