Taliah Waajid Black Earth Products Tight Hold for Natural Hair, 6oz

It’s thin, light, and not sticky. The scent is kinda fruity, but not at all overpowering. It’s being used for 21 yr old waist length dreads. We’ve used many different brands over the years and this gel is looking like the only one we may need. I’m considering a subscription. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I wanted and assumed (instead of reading the description 🙄) it would be more of a wax like consistency for hold, but it’s more of a custard which is great for my hair texture also, and it actually holds my twist together and leaves them looking very.. juicy lol I love the shine it adds and the smell. Wish there was a larger size available. I did my whole head and I’m already half way down the jar. 🥹 Great product.

This was okay for me, I just didn’t feel it held my retwist style. A few days after a fresh retwist my hair was back looking like it never got a retwist. However, I do love that it left no flaking and it felt very lightweight and no sticky residue. I still use it for my edges or styling, but will be looking into something else for retwist. Picture shown is the day I got my retwist done.

So I am going to be doing my own hair, last time I ordered the wrong strength of loc gel, so I just received this one as a recommendation from my daughter, I will give this on a try. I tried it and it absolutely works, I will be re-ordering very soon.

First of all when they say “tight hold” that’s what they mean. I spray my hair with water everyday and there was no unraveling. So far it’s been pretty good. I saw some reviews prior to me purchasing about flaking and buildup and I did not experience any. You don’t need to use a lot of it so maybe that’s why there was flaking. It smells like coconut which I love so I would say this product is definitely worth buying.

One of .. no thy best product I use for my retwist. No product build up and it does not dry out my scalp and make it flaky. My twists hold tight and neat for a long time. 6oz lasted to retwist so I purchased the 5lbs bottle.
