Dansko Men's Karl Oiled Leather Clog Antique Brown/Black Sole 44 M EU / 10.5-11 D(M) US

I'm a size 11-11.5. tried the 45 euro size based on some recommendations here. They were too big and slid off my foot. So, I ordered size 44. Still too big. I can get them to stay on only by wearing double thick socks, but then my heel hangs over the back. I love these clogs but I just can't seem to find a pair to fit properly. So sad.

Medical student in third year rotations, and I was tired of my feet hurting. Between rounds, OR time, clinic, I was in my feet non-stop. I’ve always worn boots, OnCoulds, and recently, Hokas. The OnClouds and Hokas are great but the foam just isn’t designed to stand up to long lengths of time in your feet, and because it’s not very dense, it gives out too quickly. I’ve always thought these clogs were pretty ugly, but I was to the point I didn’t care. Honestly instant love. They footbed is dense and heavy, which initially seems like it may be uncomfortable, but as you wear them they soften some but still provide incredible support. I’m sold. My last Dansko shoes lasted nearly 2 decades... I love this company. But man was I surprised how dark the antique brown is... here's a photo comparing to my old brown Dansko's. I actually think the photo makes it look more brown than it is in real life... these things really look black ... not brown at all. I'm not sure if I got the wrong color, or if Dansko shoes just aren't truly brown any more... but I'm returning.

I cooked professionally for almost 20 years and we wore these shoes in the kitchen for our backs and hips. They worked great. I got this pair to wear casually around town because I needed something for my hips and back. I am glad to say these are still great shoes. They fit nicely and are very comfortable.
