IT HAS KRILL, this will smell like shrimp/fish and it will taste like shrimp/fish. Krill is great for your cat, Omega-3 fatty acids, choline, and the powerful antioxidant astaxanthin, which support brain health, cognitive function, liver health, and skin and coat condition. Whoever the one star was that said it stinks and doesn’t taste like chicken, well … this could be why. It aids in helping under the weather cats and kittens and assists with respiratory, runny eyes due to allergies or change in weather or just your average kitty cold. If after using this product for a couple weeks and their symptoms get worse, go to the VET your poor cat needs medication. This brand has 400mgs more than the “leading” product and is still cheaper. I do recommend this product and will be sure to keep some on hand for as long as I own cats. The stuff the vet wanted to give me had 400mg of LLysine less and was $50 more.

We have a stray kitty that has herpes and is FIV positive. We got her all cleaned up and got her healthy. We have been giving her this supplement to help keep her immune system up and she has been healthy. We mix it in her wet food and she still eats it. Glad she did not reject the mixed food. There are several pluses for her. She is happy, healthy, and is getting a lot of love from her family. I believe this supplement is contributing to her health.

My overall opinion of this product is that it's good quality. We have a 7 month old kitten that has suffered from chronic upper respiratory issues since we adopted him and through 3 rounds of antibiotics, he still wasn't well. We decided to give his body a break from antibiotics and work on boosting his own immune system. I've been giving him immune supplements daily for months now and he's in really good spirits. He has good days and bad days but it seems like more good than bad at this point. We used 2 different lysine supplements previously but I decided to give this one a try when the last one ran out and I believe it's helping. He seems to be feeling better and less stuffy after having a dose of this powder in his food. He also doesn't mind the smell or taste of it and eats it right up mixed in with his wet food. I'm really hoping after finishing a container of this, his immune system will be much stronger. Thus far, I'm happy with it. I like the additional benefits in it besides the lysine. It's a unique combination that I haven't seen with other lysine products. I'd definitely recommend giving this a try if your cat needs an immune boost!

If you have multiple cats L-Lysine is good to give your fur babies for protection.

When I started using L-Lysine my cat had a horrible cough and he had a bad discharge coming out of his eyes. After using it for a month, he has no cough, he also has no discharge out his eyes. I am very happy I tried this.
