I got LaserGRBL running on my Linux laptop, plugged the USB cord in, and this machine came to life. It's just as good as machines twice the price. Tested it with Light Burn as well, which it has no problem connecting to. Set the material under it, place the safety on it, and lower it onto the included 2 mm focus plate. Remove the plate and you are ready to go. It's that easy to zero this in. Test the framing, and go! Cuts cardboard, card stock, and, yes, paper accurately. It can also cut 3 mm plywood at 100% power. Not bad for a 5 watt machine! Half hour assembly time, and if you're experienced with 3D printers, you're as good as gold.

This laser engraver is only the second one I’ve ever owned, and I might not be able to say I’m a expert on laser engraving but I’ve seen bad engravers and really good expensive ones This engraver was a really good deal it’s very hefty and it engraves exceptionally well for what it is. And it works seamlessly with light burn and GRBL software platforms. I would recommend this engraver if you’re looking for one in this size and price range

I own 7 laser engravers and use them everyday. At first I thought the Vevor was a nice looking machine and was better quality. The controller board is an older type GrBL firmware, and machine speed is definitely not consistent. After a couple of months using it for light duty work, the laser unit started inconsistent burns, looked blurry, and lost it precision quality it used to have. Emailed seller for support, they keep demanding several videos of problem using an app I have never heard of to the country of China. I thought Vevor was based out of California, like their name says on the box I received it in. NEVER again will I purchase a product from Vevor. Their tools and equipment are about as good as Harbour Frieght crap. Good luck to anyone who purchases this..... oh ya, forgot to mention I bought a different brand laser module, installed it, and works just fine now.

Works well except that I still don’t know how to use the machine and have not been able to find a suitable software aside Lightburn which very expensive in my region.. Customer service is awesome. My machine came with a factory faulty laser, as soon as I discovered and wrote them, it was changed immediately without any hassle. Thanks to Vevor.

Easy to put together It’s a decent size not too small not too big It’s pretty sturdy So far from the test runs we did as we are still learning to do this, it’s been pretty easy and spot on.

Didn't work when it got here, so they sent me a new controller and told me to solder it in myself

it was easy to assemble and hook up to my computer, however, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to install the correct driver for it to run on my computer. i have tried everything, it looks great and im sure it'll work great but can't use it... i have reached out to the company support team and they sent me files that were invalid to download to give me the driver.

We love the item We shut down the laser and the power/control box The next morning we turned/pressed the power button and it would not turn on... All we'd need is a new power box

Il laser bene o male fa' il suo lavoro ma il problema maggiore che la messa a fuoco automatica non funziona pensavo che fosse difettoso e me lo hanno sostituito con un'altro ma il problema e lo stesso le istruzioni spiegano che per effettuare la messa a fuoco automatica basta premere il pulsante + brevemente ma lui non si ferma continua fino a fine corsa poi un'altro problema non a un interruttore on - off per spegnerlo devi tirare la presa di corrente il softer in dotazione e veramente molto ridotto a poche regolazioni. Eventuali resi sia per difetto che per altra causa le spese di spedizioni le devi anticipare l'acquirente e poi con la ricevuta dopo 2 settimane inviata ad Amazon ti saranno rimborsate.
