The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark (Jill Tomlinson's Favourite Animal Tales)

One of my favourite children's books, will buy again and again for friends who are expecting.

My daughter had been reading this in school. She had been quite unsettled at night for a few nights after a bad dream. Then coincidently she started to read this book in school but the book had to remain in school. Bought this for her & she loved it so much,she has re-read this over again!

This story is fantastic. So relatable for anyone with young kids. The artwork is stunning. Definitely worth having in your child’s library.

A favourite children's book of mine and bought as a gift to share the joy had with a friends young family

The story and pictures are adorable - and will help little people who are afraid of the dark. Bought this years ago for our children, and now buying more for new little people. A book no children's library should be without.

It was a book that I enjoyed reading as a child & I bought it for my granddaughter

Bought this for our son to start reading books to himself. He absolutely loves this story and we will be looking out for the other Jill Thomson novels. Highly recommended.

"The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark" ist ein sehr schönes Kinderbuch. Nachdem die deutsche Fassung mehrfach durchgelesen wurde, haben wir die englische gekauft. So kann man schön die erste Fremdsprache einführen und sich inhaltlich gut an der deutschen Version entlanghangeln, um z.B. neue Vokabeln zu lernen.

It obvious for my daughter to like this book but here I am, totally in love with the character and storyline of the book. The book innocently tells a child how to deal with fear... loved it..
