Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1987 Original Series 4-Pack

Well....if you're buying Playmates brand ...they are toys to you. Of course you can put them on a shelf to just admire...in or out of the box.Or open it...cut the million little plastic ties to get them out....and throw them on the coffee table...haul one to another room....ride one on your dashboard sometimes. Yell at the cat for trying to chew on the one you left unattended.So I had the original 4 back in the late 80s. The quality on these is fine. This is the 2013 reissues molds by Playmate. Maybe like me you didn't buy them on that round or any since. These are the molds they use for standard "original" turtles.They just don't FEEL the same to me. Leas glossy than originals? Slightly lighter?But here is the good news ..the have their main weapons...they are fine ..no loose joints...no battle damage YET. They still stand the exact same as OG...squatty and not very balanced.The quality in my very humble (I do not buy figures of any kind for more than 20 each) is probably a 9.1They can't have a 10. There are a few sloppy paint issues and odd lines from air in the molds maybe? To get all 4 close to original with a few weapons that aren't beat up.....now that could make them closer to a 10.If you pay over 45 after taxes you may not be thrilled. I personally think for a set...for the money...Playmates SHOULD have given a weapons rack for each turtle. I don't and won't diss Playmates too much...they gave us the OGs!!!! And they keep giving us nice re-releases.Well this mold is as close to original as we can have and the price IS reasonable.This is a good gift for a fan...for a kid...these are toys meant to be played with. Have fun with them.***(I bought this on second attempt. First time took SO long to ship I cancelled. It gives some wild 4 or 5 week out delivery time....and that sucks. But once it finally started moving....I got it in three days)

All the Ninja Turtles except Donatello came with two accessories quality of the item is not worth the value for the money and Donatello is blue not purple and his Turtle tone is brown instead of super dark green I put my actual Ninja Turtles from 1987 in the case these came from to keep them safe three stars because the Box will work as a case LOL

Great figures, just like I remember.

It was bought as a Christmas gift for a old ninja toy collector because the new do not look like the old they have a fake look. So when I got it I seen that they are just like they used to be. He should love them even if they never get opened out of the box.

Three stars cause Michelangelo and Raphael were bad quality. Mikey’s legs popped off as we opened the package and Raph has a big black mark on his head like paint dripped. But they def look and feel like my og turtles minus all the extra stuff they use to come with. Just the basic weapons.

Identical to the original toys from the 80s. Nice quality.

The paint job wasn't great I had to scrape some of it off.
